uSky Test & Certification Center in Sharjah

The uSky Test and Certification Center in Sharjah (UAE) demonstrates its guests the capabilities of uPods designed for passenger and cargo transportation in tropical conditions. However, this place is not just a large-scale showroom located in the open air that serves to familiarize oneself with the features of uST Solutions. The Center’s functions have much larger scope, from carrying out research and development work, to providing conditions for carrying out certification activities on compliance with the safety requirements. The uSky Center is the part of Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) of American University in Sharjah.
The Test and Certification Center serves as a base for research and development in the natural and climatic conditions of the tropics.
A transport and infrastructure complex with a track structure, anchoring structures, stations, and a control room was built on the territory of the R&D Center.
In 2021, the independent international organization TUV SW confirmed safety of the uST Complex in a tropical design.
