Just watched a mechanic fitting lowering springs to a m4, You didn’t need to do half the the tasks you carried out, like removing brace bar, carbon fibre brace and the total dismantling of the front shock. The mechanic just removed the nuts to the struct, dropped down the shock, removed the spring, replaced the spring and rubber cover and re fixed nuts to strut, you made this job twice as hard than it needed to be 😊👍🏻
This video is so misleading! Carbon brace does not need to be removed. Taking the whole shock off is not required, taking off strut mount is not required. Taking off the whole brake hose mount is not required just pull out the wires!! - all you need to do is open the centre 18mm 12 point bolt and the strut will drop down. You made this job thrice harder than it needs to be!
Amazing tutorial man! I was gonna leave 1 criticism of not telling us the torque specs but i saw it in the drop down so this was PERFECT man. Keep it up.
when reinstalling the top mount (5:06), how should the rubber booth and spring be sitting? Also, when reinstalling the top strut mount bolts (6:23), how do you align the top mount with the holes? does it spin? Thank you for the great video!
Quick Question, on your camber screw how far you have to raise the jack to release pressure? , yours looks it came out very easy, did you use any oil or rubber mallet? my is super hard to come out, tks

maybe they have 1500$ install price for 300$ springs and they want to show how hard it is to install:))

"Remove the carbon fiber brace and find a safe place to store it". Hands off to buddy.
Buddy holds brace carefully for 4 full hours.
I love it

You should get back to making videos. Good content.
I prefer it without background music
Awesome vid 👌🙌🏼
great video! I was wondering for a coilover install, what do you do with the vertical acceleration sensor?
Amazing video, and giving the torque specs was perfect for my own DIY spring swap. I got an F20 125D but I'm assuming the torque specs are the same.
Endlich geht es weiter
