Awesome toy, Roman! But I am an old fun of Sony. 1 of my TVs remained in Ukraine is 10 years 40" LCD assembled in Spain. Still alive with no burned pixels. :) However, 55" OLED is really awesome!

Still no software update from Philips for HDR in the youtube app. Really a huge disapointment when buying a brand new oled tv in 2018 :(

What's your verdict on this TV? I'm also thinking to get it from Telekom Slovenije for 1080€ quote. I think it is more than best buy for that price tag, although I'm a little concerned, because some Philips TVs had some reliability issues in the past. Will be much appriciated about your experience with it.
I believe it is the cheapest new OLED TV with the 2018 panel. I've bought it only because of the Telekom's offer. It is not just about the price but also about the 0% interest rate 2-year loan. I am very satisfied with the picture: black is really black, colours are vibrant and you can watch it also from different angles (this review ruclips.net/video/kT2EZ31lTcM/видео.html shows I've made the right choice). It's better than my old plasma. Great uniformity at 5% near-black. No banding in the dark scenes. I come from the plasma world so I am not scared of burn-in. Actually I've never got one. I also like the ambilight... more than I thought I would. Not because it makes the picture better but because I don't need other lights on in my living room. I am also amazed by 4K and HDR movies on Netflix... it a must buy. Probably you wonder about bad things? QWERTY keyboard doesn't work properly like on 43PUS6501 (in my office). Media player crashed 3-times in last 2 weeks. Both must be fixed in the following updates. And panel is so thin that it is slightly curved. Why the borders left and right is not the same? That pixel shift function is terrible. Lg oled tvs I don't think do the same (maybe have better pixel shift function).

Nobeden ne prodaja 2-leti stari OLED TV, razen če je kaj narobe z njim. Verjamem pa, da se da udobno kupit novi TV modelsko leto 2019 ali 2018. Samo treba je malo pogledat po internetnih štacunah v EU.
Kaj osebno bi vi kupili? Ali ta tv rabljen 2 leti ali za enako denar nov LG nanocell TV. Je vreden ta Philips 2 leti star 600 eur? Nov je že ne spletu 1100 eur.
Mi lahko daste kak vaš kontakt, messenger, da bi vas še vprašal o tem tv, kakšna je slika recimo na pop tv preko eon box, je kaj boljša kot pri led ali nanocell TV.
Куплен более года назад, супер бомба тв! Но! Блютуз не желает никого видеть) Купил уши блютуз, прикрутить не могу! Единственный косяк мне не понятный! Может кто эту тему юзал? А в остальном, картинка и сам проц может уступать только Соньке последней! Да и то не во всём!
Why is the frame moving during time? Width of frame is different on sides!!
It is a burn-in protection. Every minute the image shifts a little.
Can be switch off? Very ugly solution, because picture is first priority for any display.
I have a Philips Cinemascope TV...perfect for movies
Why would anyone spend more on less? Android, weird algo that results in scary skin tones, no support for Dolby Vision, no support for HDR on youtube... Ambilight is a deviation from creator’s intent and if needed for bias lighting it can be had for a few dollars.
Well, I can't answer that but I paid 1080 EUR for that TV and that's a great bargain for a TV that I had received before the launch in most of the EU countries. As far as I know DV has problems with raised black and soap-opera effect that can't be turned off on LG TVs. And this week Philips TVs from 2016 has already getting upgrade to Android TV 8. With Oreo, HDR on RUclips will be available... or not. We will see. Regarding Ambilight: no external solution can follow the colours of screen in realtime and with the same accuracy like the Ambilight itself.
@@RomanVerhovsek where did you get it for 1080 euros? The cheapest I find it in Spain is more than 1600 euros.

If I were you, I would have bought the 903 because it has a much better sound system and costs only slightly more than your 803 Oled.

@@danteion7354 Yes, its fairly common on PC monitors but its the first time I have seen it used on a tv. Great addition.
You should set up settings correctly. Watch HDTV test picture settings when it comes out

75pug8502/77 or 55oled873? only movies and series
873 is only 65"!!! Otherwise OLED brings better black, better view from both sides and great contrast in the dark scenes. Keep in mind that it has also weak points like possible burn-in, artifacts in the dark scenes and un-uniform screens especially with the old panels that 873 is using :( 8502 uses quantum dot panel with great white and vibrant colors but viewing angle sucks. If you don't watch TV from 45 degrees, 8502 would be also a good choice.
