Jack Conte is just a phenomenal artist with songs that delve into fantasy situations. I don't like to read too far into his songs because I'm not the most creative thinker, but I'll try just for jests. Bloody Nose seems to be about a corpse who came back to life and returned to their abandoned house. They were killed by a reckless driver, so the corpse isn't sure how they are still alive. However, they aren't going to look at a gift horse in the mouth; the corpse is going to live their best life.
