Just want to say, if you haven't had a chance to see this in person ... go and see it. While it looks good in pictures and videos it really doesn't do it the justice it deserves. See it with your own eyes. It such an piece of art. I saw the black one in the service bay a couple years ago. Absolutely amazing.

@@investigativereports1622 well the McLaren GT looks good it's not even in the same league when it comes to looks. In 20 years no one will care about McLaren GT but they'll still talk about and admire the beauty of the Alpha Romeo 4C

That car looks cool with that cover on it! ha ha Very pimped. Too bad they didn't make this car a bit larger and with the V6 engine and more luxury interior. I think it would have sold more.

See thats exactly why we need a revamped 6C in the Alfa lineup to fill those concerns you have. Would be prefect!

Why are you comparing a McLaren GT to an Alfa Romeo 4c?. The McLaren is a 260K car the 4c was probably upper 70k at the most when it was introduced. They are entirely different classes of cars.

They did a beautiful job with the design but they failed with the powertrain. If I am not mistaken this car had a 4 cylinder engine with just 240 hp for a call that cost 50k to 60k. This car could not match the performance of the Porsche Boxster S for the same price! I think I would still buy one in black because they are just unique and gorgeous vehicles. Unique cars with character like this 4c is hard to find these days

Light weight was there but you're right, performance lacked a bit. Still a great collectors item for sure!

Drive one first before judging. Yup is is 4cylinder. Drive it for several hours on back roads or a track. I do have a black one. Would not trade it for a cayman S. Not saying it is better or worse but the experience is totally different.

I had several different Boxster S models and the 4c is faster. The Boxster S steps up to a 3.4-liter flat-6 that churns out 315 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. In Edmunds testing, an S model with the manual transmission accelerated from zero to 60 in a swift 4.9 seconds; expect the PDK with launch control to drop that time to 4.5 seconds. The Alfa's turbocharged 1.7-liter 4-cylinder engine's 237 horsepower isn't much, but it's only working against roughly 2,500 pounds. That equates to a genuinely fast car - the Alfa Romeo 4C's 0-60-mph time is logged at 4.1 seconds - with only a hint of turbo lag.
