- I first uploaded this video April 2015, however, unfortunately it fell foul of music copyright and I have been unable to find a way round it. I've removed the offending music (hence the quiet) so hopefully you can now see this.
The first ever steaming and test run of our new loco, a 7 1/4" British Railways Standard Class 7MT at Woking Miniature Railway Society's Mizens Railway. After a long and slow steam up and a good squirt of oil she ran like a dream all afternoon. We are now looking forward to pulling a full rake of coaches packed with happy customers.
Incredible engineering! Beautiful machine
As we would say here in Oz, "what a little ripper" nice loco and looks like it is a great runner too. Well done.
Stunning model, as a skilled engineer myself I know exactly the time and effort gone in to building that. I'm currently building a 5" prairie.
that locomotive is an absolute work of art
Only just seen this video! What a gorgeous locomotive!
What an absolutely stunning locomotive.
Love Britannias...wonderfully noisy brutes! Alas I can only remember seeing one, on the Southbound Pines Express at Shrewsbury, platform seven which we travelled on as far as Oxford I think.
Only one criticism don't play the music let us hear the locomotive more. Absolutely beautiful locomotive by the way
Duly noted. If you check my video from Amnerfield, you should be able to hear some good unadulterated loco noise on what is a great track to open her up!
Great!
