Learned this dance years ago, we added to the fun. Those who were in the Sealed Knot will know what I mean. Took me back watching this.

We did this one at my dance class today and it was so fun, nothing feels weirder than being put in the middle to stand tho lol

How did they decide the order? Who goes to the center first?
Before you start, decide which is couple 1, 2, and 3. In the first part of the dance the order is Lady 1, Lady 2 and Lady 3. In the second part of the dance the order is Gentleman 1, then Gentleman 2 and then Gentleman 3. And it is the same order each time for coming out of the centre.

Из сборника танцев и мелодий к ним "Английский учитель танцев" Джона Плейфорда, 1650 год. Изначально народный английский танец, потом перекочевал в высший свет, как и многие другие из этого сборника.
