0:36 Morello, master of drum comedy! 0:54 Desmond was laughing so much he missed his solo part XD These guys were excellent, and had so much fun while being excellent!
I had the honor to wash glasses, ashtrays and sweep the floor at the Black Hawk on Hyde and Turk in SF’s Tenderloin in 1959-60. Met these legends way back. Great Fellows. Guido “Joe” Cacciento owned the club. He was a legend in North Beach. Old Italian. Smart man.
🔴 Dave Brubeck was the best Tutor I had , I really miss him , Rest in Peace 🙏✝️🙏 Thanks for the wonderful memories of San Francisco CA, and Chicago and Detroit, 🎼🎼🎵❤️❤️ The Best Jazz Master , As Always Diamond Dave ♦️♦️♦️‼️
Dave Brubeck was a genius! He influenced progressive music clearly. The synergy between the musicians is absolute, a delight for the ears and the eyes. Thanks for amazing vídeo! God bless you!
Many thanks for the short clip. Can you please upload the whole concert (about 45 minutes)? I have it on DVD but it's no longer working. jazzrealities see blog

Paul is invariably sophisticated and creative.
RIP, Dave, Joe, Eugene, and Paul.
Sad when these special people are not around So few of them
These guys were a meme before it was invented. Dave’s even playing the lick at 2:52. Legendary genuises 😂
The lick was played in 1912 by some Chinese guys

My favourite quartet. I love these gentlemen.
Al zo'n 50jaar dat ik deze heren ken ,en het blijft boeiend om naar te luisteren.
I really love this band, and Dave's laugh too!
First time I have heard this rendition of Three To Get Ready and I am in love. Nobody plays like Brubeck played.
My favorite Jazz group

Holy shit. Its not 1964, anymore.
When they all look like super old men with white hair and then you remember that it was only 1976
We here are saying the same thing. Who is the drummer that piano player yelled or barked at?
Desmond.
Great! Can you upload take 5 from that concert?

Record in Friars Club New York city
By 1976 sartorial standards seem to have slipped somewhat.
