I’m new to Kasabian. My friend used to bang on about them but I’m from the 80,s rock seen 🤨 What brought me here was an article about Toms departure from Kasabian. I looked further into this and although Tom admitted his wrong doings he was completely crucified. His friends all of a sudden were busy. His band mates no longer available. He was with these lads 20 years +. What was their agenda. They used a man’s total breakdown and rock bottom to declare a new band with a new lead man. It totally stinks. Tom has paid his dues. His girlfriend is now his wife. Be the first to throw stones if you are without sin. I am glad so many here are in support of this man. The courage it takes to do what he has done is immense. I was unaware of Kasabian but I am now totally awakened to Tom xx
This song reminded me why I loved Kasabian so much. I don't care who writes the songs, because writing it isn't enough. It was that energy, the feeling, the intonation, the power of the voice. Thank you, Tom! For me, it only takes a couple of seconds to prove the real skill of the singer and frontman on this song - it's, the way the feeling changes at moments 2:44-3:05 and 3:35-3:38. Voice, you just feel it. Outstanding💎

Loving the verse & bridge. Not liking the pre-chorus/chorus with those annoying “oohs” but Tom’s singing is amazing. Noel needs to send him a few songs, it’s time
It's strange but the breakup of Kasabian gave us two new Kasabian bands. The first led by Sergio - an extension of their music into pop-electro. And the second - Tom's solo project that return back to the golden days of Kasabian's rock'n'roll. What a great time we live in, aren't we? Nice.
Then give Tom the band name and he'll be at Glastonbury and any festivals and gigs. or rename those who call themselves Kasabian into slp and let them start from the beginning. and then it will be fair. otherwise it's all nonsense. Now we have zero kasabian. We have Tom and slp. Chose your fighter and move on. and Serge has a solo project, and this is Tom’s life what a time!

I need to chill on my Serge disparagement 😅 Im just a salty fan. I didn't have this problem with Oasis (The need to pick sides) i guess it's how they didn't even attempt to stand by him at all. Not even half assed, felt like Serge was waiting for this kind of thing to be the frontman. I know it's a tough spot, not sure how i would have handled it but they were brothers for YEARS, conquered the world together (well, except the US but the music here is shit so who cares) and they were just like; "yeah hes a piece of shit, cancel him". Cold.

Team Tom forever, but he can do it better. The 1st LP was incredibly bad, just cheap rock sounds. He has the voice, charisma & talent to creat something much better & bigger. Work with Dan the Automator!
I really like Tom's first solo album. Maybe he didn't discover America with this album, but in my opinion it turned out the way it was supposed to be. It wasn't a chart-topping album, it was about work, about process, about healing, about coming back and in that respect it was great. I would be really happy if Tom could work with different interesting people like dan the automator in the future. If I remember correctly they have worked together before on VELOCIRAPTOR! and WEST RYDER. Hopefully in the future Tom will have opportunities to show his skills even more.

@@ScottRen14 I think rock ‘n’ roll is something that's already part of both Liam and Tom's DNA. In my mind, a man who has been saying from the stage for 20 years ‘Rock'n'roll never die’ can't go jumping around on stage and pretend he's a young DJ in a nightclub. Tom really is a master of this genre, it suits his energy and voice perfectly. But I think Tom needs more instruments in his sound, I think he could do well with something between the styles and energy in elbow ‘AUDIO VERTIGO’, The Kills ‘Blood Pressures’, in the song ‘jackie’ by scott walker. Maybe in the next album, after ‘Roadrunner’ we will have more experiments. As the upcoming album is promised to be loud and massive. Looking forward to the new album.

Sergio's a good guitarist, but, to be honest, ruined Kasabian. It's so embarrassing to watch on stage when you compare to 2011-2012 gigs.
