- As much as I hate to see August, and summer, go, September means our annual Labor Day weekend trip up north. Something we've done my entire life. And since September 1st is on a Sunday this year, I decided the time was right for doing this song.

Great idea and beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing your memories with us! 💛 Actually I love that we're going into spooky season now. I love Halloween, pumpkin spice, and cooler temps. The heat has been pretty oppressive the past few summers. Have fun up north!
As much as I enjoy the added hours of sunlight, that Summer affords, Autumn is my absolute, favorite season. Not only because of the spectacular beauty, but, like you, I find it a reflective time, as well... This was very peaceful, calming, and enjoyable. It is important to look back, and remember. Lots of times our memories are of those no longer with us, which always makes me melancholy. I really enjoyed this. I take it that bodies of water are something that bring you contentment, and that they evoke certain feelings, simultaneously.
Again, this was just what I needed on this brisk, Sunday morn. I hope you, your dear folks, and your doggies enjoy gorgeous weather, and a relaxing time, Miss Traci.
