thanks, i took of from dickie dhanda and went on the back of green wall. this is very close to fishtail, i was trying to get on fishtail but i was unable because of the cloudbase.cheers

Our brains aren't very good at judging whether we are ascending or descending, so the beeping indicates that. The pitch indicates whether you're climbing or descending and the frequency of the beeps indicates how quickly you're going up or down.
@@sambernstein8513 Thanks for the explanation. Guess that's a very userful device to have in such extreme paragliding situations. I have only done a tandem paraglide very recently in pokhara (but no beeping device).
How much experience do you need to do this in that area? I watched the sun rise over Fishtail which was an awesome experience in itself, but I really want to DO THIS!!!

it's hard to tell, but i would recommend at least a couple of years of active flying.
