I’m a bit confused on why your mpg is so low, is that according to the truck or are you calculating that yourself? My truck said 17.2- 18 and I drive in the city just depends how many times I floor it I have the 6 speed
Vmp custom flex fuel tune is kick ass compared to the 91 octane performance tune I had before. 2019 5.0 10 speed was chirping tires during shifts in sport mode way too aggressive, now it’s just as fast but makes more power/torque down low and no more slamming into gear all the time. Tried a 87 perf/tow tune before going to 91 and up and you really don’t save much, you get better mileage anyway except for the wide open throttle tests. Fuels vary so much I finally decided a flex fuel tune was the safest thing to do, I can run 91, 93, 94, or e85 on the same tune.

Broke loose even with quite a bit of weight in the back, might need some street/track tires or a lighter foot. Play with traction control fully of with care! That was a close one😇

I dont even have a tune in my 17 ecoboost and the sport mode is plenty enough for me so I could imagine what the 87 would be like. Again though I tinkered with air pressure in tires and went from 14 to 18 mpgs. Thats city driving about 45 to 60. When I drive on interstate forget it. Mpgs come down. Also I run seafaom through gas and engine every other tank and every other oil change. Thanks Q.
I've been thinking about doing seafoam. Ran it all the time in my Ram and Maxima. Wasn't sure if it can be done or good for ecoboost. You have a ecoboost or v8?

Hahaha! It def will depend on your goals and preference, but the 93 tunes are amazing!
KickinItWithQ yeah man not really worth tuning unless you go 91 and up. But an 87 tune can give some performance just from the transmission tuning.
You should of compared it to stock. That's what us all would be coming from...

@@KickinItWithQ 3.5 EcoBoost. And I also installed the oil seperator to keep all that crap from going back in the motor.

Damn I average out 15 mpg on my 5.0
Thought about getting the 3.5 to save some gas but nvm , I’ll probably just get a speeding ticket 😂💀
