It does. Freddy and Kebi are so close and Kebi stayed right beside Freddy and baby Kayembe watching and later Freddy would let her play first with baby Kay once he started walking/tootling. That’s what made the zoo and medical staff check Kebi’s medical records to see if she could have another baby herself. So it makes since because Kebi helped raised Kay so she doesn’t mind helping Freddy because she knows Freddy would want her too.
@@Powerranger-le4up If that was a issue Freddy wouldn’t have allowed Kebi to hold or help her watch baby Kay after he was about 5 months old and Freddy only allowed Kebi until Kay was much older Then Freddy started letting N’Neka play with baby Kay at about 9 month’s old. So Freddy is a relaxed Mom if she senses everyone has good intentions. Kebi’s overprotective Mothering comes from her having to have a c-section with her first baby Kambera (who’s pregnant and due soon at Zoo Atlanta) Willie Jr. is soon getting a half sibling. Kebi’s own Mom had to help raise Kambera because Kebi had a longer time healing from her c-section. I think with Kunda’s birth Kebi was just so happy to be healthy and get to raise Kunda all by herself. I’m so glad they rechecked Kebi’s medical records and did more sonogram’s that proved Kebi could have another baby. You could see how much she loved baby Kay and helping Freddy, that she really wanted a baby too.
Kayembe looks like he really loves little Jameela. In his toddler way, he’s pretty gentle. He’s learned to be loving from Freddy, something I hope lasts into his silverback future. Jameela, on the other hand, always looks glad to be rescued!
I think Kayembe is going to be an amazing troop leader one day. I probably won't live long enough to see his Silverback years, but reckon he'll do justice to Mokolo and especially Freddie. ❤
Thank you for sharing your videos, I enjoy watching and learning about these beautiful Silverbacks! Love precious boy Kayembe and his mischievous play with the troupe.🥰🙏❤️👏👍
In fairness to the fluffy chap, he real looks after her and supports her head and when he can puts an arm round her back, I can’t believe he made it all over under and swinging at one point 😂 and I bet little jam was like “wheeeeeeee” when he was swinging, surprisingly she also looks quite happy there
I swear Kunda likes the mesh more than the floor, he’s so quick too considering he’s basically been under house arrest his whole life 😂 (that was until he found his big boy pants and he’s off……..

You are in timeout Kayembe, you know better than to run and climb with Jameela when I am calling you. Mokolo sighs from a distance. Never a dull moment with Kayembe 😂😂
I am proud of Kayembe. He loves holding his sister and playing 'keep away' from his Mom. Plus, he behaved when he was near Kunda. He would normally run quickly and try to grab her but he just ate quietly near Kebi & Kunda.
Definitely a grunt from Freddie. Kayembie thought he was going to run from mom with Jameela holding on. She’s like “no you ain’t running from me”! Kayembie always makes me so nervous when he’s out of earshot of mom and has Jameela. Thanks Larry!
The fact that Freddie lets Kayembe get so far from her shows that she trusts Kayembe with Jameela. Plus, I think she probably welcomes the break at her age, even if it's only for a few minutes. Jameela also seeks out Kayembe, so I think these three are extremely close. Freddie is such a great adoptive mom to these two. It's really a testament to her rearing them.
It is great to see Kunda being allowed to explore more and more. Kebi is slowly allowing her more and more freedom. Love seeing them outside enjoying themselves.

While I can't lie, my anxiety levels shoot through the roof when Kayembe kidnaps Jameela, especially when he climbs or is moving on the boulders. However, I think Freddy is being quite smart about this. By letting Kayembe cuddle and hold Jameela she is lessening the chances of Kayembe feeling jealous, replaced or worse behaving aggressively towards his sister. He's actually quite gentle with her and she doesn't appear to mind too much. I also find it interesting that although he has the opportunity to grab Kunda he doesn't. Considering his age he's displaying a high level of patience and intelligence. He's a very sweet little boy, if a little naughty at times. 💖💖🦍

Larry, this was an amazing video.felt like i was right there.i love their habitat..so full of different greens and things to do.Larry, how close can people get to this habitat? Hard to tell..dont know if the camera's ability to make them look really close.thx again.this was so much fun to watch and enjoy!🍁🦍🍂🦍😉🙋♀️
Thank you. Where Kayembe climbs the mesh into the hammock guests are about 9 feet away. The area we most often see Kunda climb the diagonal mesh/braided rope its more like 15 feet away

Kebi won’t let him. She pulls Kunda back away from Kayembe and pushes Kayembe away from Kunda.
FYI Kayembe birthday is October 26th.

@@mortalclown3812Yes, most of what Larry writes is what what we are seeing. “Kunda is watching, Moloko is in the back”
