    I strongly dissagree with your point on light sparring, 99.99% of my sparring has been light light touch sparring. It has elevated my game exponentially. It allows you to spar more often without the head trauma. It develops good defense and tactics rather than relying on raw speed and power

  • @joet4354
    @joet4354 6 месяцев назад +1

    Honestly think this is a bad look for Viddal. There’s a difference between ‘keeping it real’ and just coming off like a prick. This is like a premier league footballer taking the piss out of Sunday league highlights for no reason. Wade ain’t even claiming to be a good boxer so I don’t get the reason for the hate and don’t even see a need for viddal to react to this video in the first place.

  • @kamuishortsgamer3728
    @kamuishortsgamer3728 7 месяцев назад +5

    4:00 gotta disagree.
    Edit: I can now type my reason as to why. The closer to "Playing around" that sparring is, the more likely you are to learn.
    Wade sparring a bit harder in the long run can give him some results. Its bounf to, as he'll have to adapt. But if he starts off with light spar/playing, and learning simply how to move his body and react (with communication from his partner, ofc) he'll learn far faster and be able to adjust to higher paces.
    Wades issue is that he's too in his own head. He /can/ go for a few shots, but not in a way of putting power behind them, but in a way of speed + testing the waters of his creativity.
    Play IS the way to learn. If he were to spar and know that in certain scenarios you're going to hit him to get him back on track, he'll be stressed about "Staying on track" and "Not going too hard nor too weak". He's already an in his head kind of guy, and that'll only put more pressure on him. Same for anyone else.
    As they said. Animals in the wild quite literally learn to do deadly things through playing around within their groups. At least, group animals do, like Lions. Learn from Nature. Don't challenge the thing you're bound to

    I get why you hated it Viddal. You do this for a living and it annoys you to see stuff like this. But Wade is an everyman; a boxing fan who had the bravery to step into the ring at all, and his viewers who are regular people can relate and live vicariously though him. Of course even if Wade didn't look great, his fans are going to congratulate him

    Wade should set up a proper fight with a opponent on his level, it would be a great series building up to finale (the fight) and having to post weekly would be good accountability

    Just shows its about quality, not quantity, like leveon was saying we do 9 rounds 5 minutes, if its like this then thats not worth anything, rather have half the time and double the intensity

    Soccer is the easiest sport to learn and play which is why 3 year olds can play it. American Football is a very complex and dangerous sport which is why you really shouldn’t play full contact football until 14. The terminology is crazy hard to learn not to mention learning to recognize defensive coverages and blitz packages.
