i appreciate you noticing the amount of work that does go into these recordings , the feeling that they have in their songs are hard to duplicate , so when i do one of their songs i always think back to when i was younger and the feeling i had when i first heard that song and that they were still together . and i express that feeling i have , to my music. cause music speaks to the heart and soul.
Awesome job. I said this once & I'll say it again. I am very impressed with your vocal ranges. You can virtually sound like ANY singer AT WILL! And your playing is phenomenal.
Brings me back to the Wrigley Field concert Paul gave last year when he opened up with this classic tune. He played for almost 4 hours and it was a great show or should I say great party. Thanks for another performance my friend. Don't forget "Ram" is being re-released on May 22nd.
opened with it ! , wow , consider yourself lucky , to have gotten to see him live , and the fact that he played his heart and soul out for 4 hours , a true icon. i'll be looking forward to the re-release of ram. thanks
Love it Mike! There's so much going on in this one and you've got those strings and drums done so well and then that bow before the coda was a nice touch :)
thanks , i appreciate that, , yes i'm using pro tools mp9 , it was easy making the transition , i didn't have to mess with the latency or anything . the hardest thing was installing it , that did take a while , but it's great ,
thanks man , yea the bow , i did cause the beatles did it in their hello goodbye video . this is one of my very top favorite beatles songs , being very young and hearing this . left a mark on my brain lol .
You work so hard at your craft and are such an entertaining performer! Like others here, I grew up listening to this stuff and you do it justice.....thanks for keeping those great sounds alive and having fun making music (it shows!) :-)
I just saw your video of Help Me Rhonda cover from the Beach Boys and it was awsome. and I have to say....Man you're really awsome that's all I can say, really really awsome !
Man... Originally I saw "monkberry moon delight" a long time ago and recently discovered u have a TON more. Sooo good. Also what a great bass line on this one. One of my favorites to play. Paul is a mad scientist when it comes to melodic bass lines. Also also.. Lol. U do a great job on finding a close tone to the original. I noticed that especially on "penny lane" the bass tone was perfect... I also commented on that video "go cards"
thank you , i 've always found a connection with pauls bass playing , that's what i did in all the bands i played in sing and play bass . this song is really fun to do . thanks for watching
Mike...I find it fascinating that you were able to get the bass player to sing lead just like Paul with the Beatles! LOLOLOL All joking aside; another great video from posturex1
I love your covers! So true to details... I covered this song on my channel a few weeks ago but making a few changes to the arrangement... Would love to hear your opinion... Cheers and keep making music!
yea , i know , i used to own that same model of riickenbacher he used in the hello goodbye video , back in the eighties , but sold it cause of the size of stages my band played i was constantly banging into everyone , now i kick myself every day . for doing that , but i was twenty years old , and didn't know any better , but with a little luck . and money , i'll get another. thanks for watching.
Wow! What a joy to watch. Always look forward to your material!!! Are you using Protools MP9?? Did you find it easy transition from what you were using. Sure sounds great.
Hey man, what is your production technique? Do you use drum loops or arrange them before you do the instruments? Curious how a project like this gets made. Awesome as always.
my drums are keyboard drums , you play them with your fingers , they aren't programmed or looped . a song like this starts with the acoustic , and another guitar , the drums start with bass drum and snare on one track , then symbols on a separate track , and so on , i usually put down a dummy vocal track to follow by. so it can be a major headache sometimes. the bass on this song took me about 9 hours to complete , mccartney is an awesome bass player that doesn't get enough credit . he's the best. thanks for watching

Excellent clarity-and great job still capturing the soul of it. Love it man!
Great

Very accurate rendition, as always. I like the little bow you gave toward the end. Did you ever see the Beatles do that or was that all you?

oh , i'm not really hiding , i'm on youtube for the world to see , if they're interested.
Are you doing the drums as well Mike? or is that a midi and then drum kit with a Plug In??
