I'm indian. Waa what a humble peoples are there and they are also doing good hospitality first. Place is beautiful and clean and foods are looking very tasty and fresh. Even that home stay like lodge is also so good. I have already visited nepal 2 times really nepal and nepali peoples are best for everything and nepal is one of the safest country in the Asia or in the world for all specially tourists. When I visit nepal I fell very safe and happy . nepal has lot of other natural beautiful places like god gifted which I have visited.

Love the local experience and remote view of Nepal... always looking for that... Your friend 'Kat Pegi Mana' sounds like Malaysian language, but she can be from Singaporean or Indonesian as well.
Home stay out of Kathmandu might be better.... I recommend ghandruk... or somewhere close to pokhara... and you are awesome .. thanks for visiting Nepal...
No Panauti was really good and close to Bhaktapur/Kathmandu.. Panauti is a little of what I hoped Pokhara was. Although I was in the touristy part of Pokhara
