I've arrived 3 years after the initial publication of this video and I just wanted to say thank you. I've watched tons of tutorials as I've begun my journey into learning to write code and your channel has been truly informative. Instead of giving me, someone new to coding, some project where you show me new things in the scope of the project you show me something new and how to use it in its own environment so I can then take that and play with it to learn on my own. You've given me the lego pieces for me to take and make something of my own with. Your channel has truly been one of my greatest finds here lately!
bro when you added width to the inline level css the reason why the image didn't in crease in size is because you gave it an inline width of 200px if you remove the inline width the image will expand
Hey Catherine! Thanks for watching and for the question. I believe the tag is inline by default but can of course be altered to a display of inline-block if need be. Thank you and please stay tuned for more 🙂👍
@@DevDreamer This also confuses me. img tag is an inline element and based on what I know, width and height property do not affect inline elements, but with img, we can apply the said properties. Is this an exception?

@@MrSerendipity86 It is an exception, it's technically inline but it can be altered as it were inline-block
