Pankhuri Tandon Trump will mop the floor with Bernie. All he has to do is bring up Universal Healthcare and he wins all the elderly vote. Then says Bernie wants to expand social security and abortion rights and he loses the young vote then he has no one.
This is why I subscribed to vox. Not to agree with me on everything. But to present a smart intelligent subject on a complicated issue where I agree with some aspects and disagree with others. Well done guys.
My guy, don’t move here, America is garbage, it seems like your fluent in English, so I’d suggest moving to Canada or the UK, they have more stable governments lol
I tried to read her platform. It was long, detailed, and without any apparent unifying objective, theme, or principle. Now it all makes sense. That platform was written by everyone she ever had a conversation with together.
Seems like a lot of folks resent an ambitious woman.. I think the other side is going to become overconfident.. There's still a ways to go and we've yet to have the debates.. Even though they're not perfect, the Democrats represent the good guys in the political process.. Win, lose or draw.. I'm riding with them.. 💪
True, but you can't win the presidency without them. She is usually good at forming relationships with anyone, except this group which is poor tactic when campaigning for presidency. This might be the point that Trump wins on. You can be a horrible person as long as you get more air time and never stop talking to the press. People will vote for whatever is on TV the most.
Raul Martinez I watched the entire video. What's the take away? People that have a conflict of interest are willing to say nice things about Clinton. Idc what her personality is. I disagreed strongly with her policies. Things like her capital gains tax policy targets the middle class. No thanks.
The take away is that casual observers in American politics often view her as cold and not trustworthy, while people who actually work in politics and have worked with her describe her as brilliant and effective. But her weakness was that she is a great listener and that made her look like she did not take on a dominant role while she was campaigning and it lead to her being affiliated with the wrong crowd such as Wall Street investors.
Raul Martinez Dude Clinton has a conflict of interest with the banks because of her privately taking millions of $ from them. I see this as a fact. Like the sky being blue. It's not a matter of opinion or open to interpretation. But still the reason I didn't vote, donate or volunteer for her is because I disagree with her policies.
Watching this today in 2024 makes me even more depressed. I hope you’re happy with no more mean tweets, to go along with no more money in Americans pockets. Enjoy the inflation Bo Jiden has caused with his incompetence and unwillingness to do anything to help the country. He’s just busy filling pockets
I think part of this is the obsession with personality and character, over policies, that American politics tends to have. I'm British, and, generally speaking, we care much less about the characters of our politicians beyond whether they seem capable. Or at least, I do. By that I mean I don't give a rats arse about the Prime Ministers family or pets or religious affiliation...etc...etc. I don't care if they are 'nice', 'confident' or 'love the country!', and even if I did, whether they can present those characteristics while on campaign has very little to do with their political decisions while in power. To me, the only things that should really matter are, in order of importance; A. their intelligence and broader competency B. their position on _specific_ political issues e.g. GM crops, nuclear energy, HS2 (a controversial railway line)...etc C. their broader ideological positioning. On those grounds I really don't see much difference between Obama and Hillary other than Hillary having more political experience (which I count as a good thing). A Hillary presidency would be, as far as anyone can reasonably predict, a continuation of Obama's. That may be a good or bad thing, depending on your point of view, but regardless it's hardly a political earthquake. But, because American news media and society loves to obsess over character and the individual so much, that fact seems to have been obscured. I don't mean to sound superior here - in the UK we have our own issues - it's just something I've noticed.
Competence and passive responsibility, both, ought to be the aspiration of the American Presidency and the focus of the electorate. The conundrum we face is being forced to choose one over the other. I cannot attribute our tendency to obsess over character to any one thing, but I think it is the combination of media entrepreneurship and overall national adolescence. We've only been a superpower for a century, and yet both major technological revolutions in information-sharing (i.e. television and internet) occurred in the past half century. We find ourselves deferring more to entertainment than to history books; popcorn over bananas. Evidently, this election is the result. Clinton 2016.
Sanders' speeches didn't leave people marveling at his "political skills". They left people marveling at his integrity and ability to speak like a normal person in a position of power. Which is in large part what politicians are supposed to be. Vox does a lot of great things, bringing attention and education to lots of topics that deserve it. But viewers should be careful not to mistake a well-supported opinion for fact, and should not stop their train of thought when the video ends. Vox's productions make it very easy to do both of those things. Especially when Ezra Klein himself steps in front of the camera.
@john riva and @Drake Productions Well the problem here is that's the only parts of the protests that you're allowed to see. There are two parts to this: 1. Because there isn't any central authority in protest it's considerably easier for the news to interview the Police rather than the protesters (a Police officer is considered a more credible source of information and you have to interview only one person at the top to get the Police side of the story where as you would have to interview dozens if not hundreds to get the protesters side of the story). 2. The news generally want controversial content to keep the audience entertained even if that content is not representative of the protest as a whole (it's simply more profitable). That results in the 0.1% of the most violent protesters being shown and covered while the vast majority of the protesters are rather peaceful. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. EDIT: I feel like I should clarify that I'm not taking a side, I'm not even an American, I just watch American politics for fun.
Listening was never something what was treasured in the American politics. Show is that what’s counts. That’s why we now have a clown as a president who entertains us every day
The elephant in the room is that she's a woman? Really? I would say the elephant is the long list of controversy and scandals she's directly involved in.
My jaw dropped when he said that BS. It's this kind of disingenuous journalism that makes me turn away from Clinton (aside from her actions and words). It's like seeing someone step on your foot and them denying it to your face.
yeah im done. People don't like her cuz she IS shadey as hell, she DID rig the entire democratic campaign, she IS cold, calculating and manipulative. End of story
+Aveline De Grandpré No. It's mostly that she's a liar. If anything she uses her sex to her advantage, as she's said multiple times "women need to get out and vote for me, we need a woman in office." To say that her sex as inhibited her is a lie as she beat better qualified male and female democrats to become the nominee.
+Aveline De Grandpré what are you taking about once again? His failed businesses are just that. Failed businesses. He lost money, he's been ridiculed to no end for his failed businesses and he's lost tons of money because of those ventures l. You're wrong so please stop making yourself look not so intelligent.
@@brandonmccollum4921 Well I mean he has abused human rights, mismanaged coronavirus horribly, made a negative impact on Jobs, and has not been helpful to international relationships. I mean at least Hillary wouldn't have made a moral equivalent between White Supremacists and Antifa, ignoring the facts about the impacts of each organization.
Even though I am watching this video 3 years and 8 months after it was made, it's content is no less relevant as we draw to the end of Trump's first term. This video explains so much of how & why Trump won, but also it explains much about human nature, and how Trump can win a second term. Clinton the Listener, vs Trump the Talker; People like hearing someone telling them simple solutions to complex problems. But, people don't expect or want to have to explain to an electoral candidate what the problems are, because they expect the candidate to somehow know and completely understand already, and to sound authoritative about it. And this is where human nature is at its most frail and most exploitable. I also see now how Clinton got foul pressed. Even I fell for it. 😕
Not really, Clinton is a terrible person and politician. Sure they blamed her for Benghazi when it wasn't her fault but she's still a terrible person lol
George George anybody with half a brain. She said rich people are oppressed, has private and public’s opinions, took 100s of millions from big banks and corporations. There’s a reason her approval rating was trash.
Maybe it's because most of those critiques are overstated or not true. After all, journalism doesn't have to confirm all of your preconceived theories.
@@idenree8606 like 13% of the things Hillary has said were fact checked as false and for other people it’s way higher, including Donald Trump. She is a brilliant woman that has gotten incredible work done through her career and people like you just want to slander her and put her down
@@kamronramelmeier9264 ". She is a brilliant woman that has gotten incredible work done through her career and people like you just want to slander her and put her down" Whatever drugs you're taking please give them to me.
@@kamronramelmeier9264 you realize that what you said doesn't contradict my comment, right ? And Every time I argue with someone about a politician and they vaguely say that the person has done " incredible work " they usually don't know anything about that politician. So I'm guessing you only love Hillary because she's a women.
+Vinny Lauricella - I dunno. I surely wouldn't if I was her or part of her campaign team. I thought it didn't sound particularly flattering or supportive. But that's just my take & you obviously have another.
Why do people consider this bias? Pointing out positives and negatives on a subject is not biased. It's not biased to say that ice cream tastes good but is unhealthy.
Notice how the tone of music changes from when he describes her cons vs the uplifting music played when he describes her positives. Sorry but i also say this is subliminally biased.
Tom Tom did you only watch the first 5 minutes? Because his discussion of "The Gap" as he called and as you caps-lock summarized was not the bulk of the video... nor the key takeaway. I have no strong pull towards her or Trump. This video did not come off the way you've described.
For those of us not in the USA and not biased to one party or the other, this is a fascinating, fair and honest review of Hilary Clinton. Well done Vox.
But this really is dishonest, the video never really covers the most controversial things about Hillary like the Clinton Foundation and her frequent flip-flopping when it comes to social issues. Plus Vox has been notorious for running a negative ad campaign against Hillary's enemies, just look at how they treated Bernie Sanders.
This is nice to know, I enjoy hearing how she actually possibly works. Too bad there's a man who has a hard time listening to anything but selective people, as president right now.
To be fair, Vox has a past record of _heavy_ democratic bias, so it isn't unreasonable to immediately think this is going to be brainless propaganda. Turned out it wasn't. I thought it was strange there weren't _much more_ dislikes until I watched the video. I will say that the core of the video is a bit vacuous in trying to convince us that "she listens." Some of the Clinton history was good to learn, but I would prefer them try to convince me that "she is principled" rather than "she listens"; the loudest voices tend to be the ones with lobbyists. I also didn't appreciate the gendered comments; gender should be completely irrelevant to this discussion.
In what way? Being responsible for the deaths of thousands of children? Wake up, enough is enough. Truly educate yourself and do your own research before it’s to late. Philippians 2:10-11
Some of the negative things 'people say about her' is that ''She is a liar, corrupt, and highly untrustworthy.'' For a part, that´s based upon - and rightfully so - the moment at 12:17. Hillary denies a crime. The director of the FBI proves at 12:24 she's lying publicly. If you think that those facts are just sexism, it means you believe she should get away with this. That's wrong.
i dont have a single thing i dont like about her because she is a woman i hate her for who she is and the crimes she got away with. Your ignorant to the truth because of the propoganda you have been watching.
have you heard anything people say about Donald Trump????? racist sexist idiot i can go on and on... Sexism is an excuse people use to cover up the fact that she is untrustworthy.
Aveline De Grandpré Because thats what the left does. They kick and scream at the right saying there the cause of americas problems meenwhile destroying it from the inside
Remember when she voted for the Iraq war? Even though 30 Democratic Senators voted against it. Was that listening to the people? Was that "getting the job done"?
hey jude A mistake is spilling your coffee. It's not voting to authorize an unjust war. You don't just get to say "sorry". There was a lot of push back against this war. Especially from the Democratic party. And she still chose to vote for it. That's unexcusable.
I love Vox. I love how they speak slowly, give you examples, and seem to have put forth a lot of work before making a video. I also like the way they talk to us. I'm not talking about this video specifically. I'm talking about all their videos.
Despite the very Pro-Hillary present bias, I think this is still a very fascinating and informative video. But take it down a notch next time, I like my press neutral.
Oh most definitely, though the number of such unbiased outlets grows smaller every day, I feel like. But I still like to watch a wide array of sources from all sides, I see the spin and acknowledge it, because the bias itself is also useful information. If I want to keep fighting against the drones of Hillary or Trump, I have to take a second to listen to their warped perspectives too.
True, the progressive agenda for the democratic party is definitely a good thing, though I will mention that she hired Debbie Wasserman Schultz. That was a twist of the knife.
This is kinda irrelevant, but... "Hilary Clinton has been a major political figure in my whole adult life."... err what? She's 70, you're 30, she's been a major political figure in your whole life.
Yeah, like it or not! And it's a GOOD thing that we have a female Presidential candidate that KNOWS WHAT SHE has on her plate as U.S. President! Unlike POMPOUS narcissistic,Trump!!!
The point I think he was trying to make was that most other political figures, especially during this 2016 election haven't been as visible in their careers.
Another brilliantly made and well put together video Vox. Could you make a video explaining how you still believe that someone who's already committed treason is the best person to entrust as president.
THE CLINTON FOUNDATION ,IRAN DESTRUCTION ,SYRIA DESTRUCTION ,LIES LIES LIES ,SINCE WHITEWATER SHE IS THE SHE DEVIL ,SHE LISTENS ,TO USE THIS KNOWLEDGE ,TO BETTER FULL YOU AT THE END ,DOING WHAT SHE WANTS!
No what Ms Kimberly is saying is, if you oppose Clinton for Iraq War, then you must also oppose Bush and the Republican Party too. Otherwise you are contradicting yourself.
R. W you're right, the Morgan's married into the Rothschild family. But the Rothschild family's wealth is so spread out now, so they don't really control things like they used to.
Wow, just wow. An excellent video that makes me feel like I can understand the way she's going to be working, and humanizing her... Honestly, the profile piece was very even-handed, with a fair amount of criticism of her personality, without going too overboard In painting her in a negative nor positive light; rather it treats her as a human being, something many reporters fail to do. The video is rife with criticisms of her work, for those who don't actually watch it. It's a good one.
This is what political analysis really is. Not speculative opinions seen on every major news network. Yes, Everyone has a bias, and it is seen in reporting even here. But analyzing requires actual analyzing like this. Major News networks just want to entertain, they could care less about anyone they actual talk about. I would love to see more from more candidates. I have a lot of respect for this video and the process it took to describe things. +1 sub
the more I read the ridiculous comments that were done a year ago and where we are now I hope that those people have figured it out that what they thought was stupid but I doubt that's the case
Right, it's evident now that it's better when Trump won, because he didn't nuke California yet, he mostly just did what George W Bush would do as well, and Bernie is now the frontrunner for 2020, which means we'll probably see real change by 2021
TheMaryam1891 Na, Trump isn't really worse than Bush (unless he nukes something, which he hasn't yet), so now with Hillary out of the scene, Bernie is the frontrunner in 2020, which will likely mean he wins, meaning we'll see fundamental change in America from 2021 on. From campaign finance reform, to a more peaceful foreign policy, to universal healthcare
Fiona Tanzer Very funny, so if the Russians had done one ad for Hillary without her consent, then she would have been compromised for the election as well? Stop being a hack
qwertyasdf1302 Can't tell if you are trolling or just stupid... If you would like to make an actual point feel free, but I don't let trolls spam my posts, sry.
This really reminds me of what happened in Australia with our (also first female) prime minister Julia Gillard. Like Hillary, she entered government with a strong, almost incredible track record of getting sides to agree to things. She was well regarded and had personal friendships even with the other side of politics. She made a deal with three highly diverse members to form minority government and they supported her throughout. But like Hillary, she was branded as a "liar" as soon as the Right had some dirt to throw. They picked up on a broken statement she made pre-election to have no carbon tax to address climate change, and hung on it relentlessly. "Axe the Tax" was their Bolshevik-style motto. She was a liar, untrustworthy, the least believable of any prime minister in history. Her negotiated compromise and rational governance was attacked by the bitter losing party as "weak". Any attempt to point out the obvious sexist overtones of her criticism (calling her a "witch") was met with the charge of PC bigotry or reverse sexism. And so it went on, even as she kept making good policy with a minority government. Eventually, the far-right led Abbott government won out, but their unencumbered majority rule was overturned in less than two years as he broke promise after promise, making gaffe after gaffe and failing to cooperate with anyone. I think a similar thing is happening at present with Hillary. Sure, she has done some dodgy stuff, and she is influenced by big business, but she's hardly the most corrupt or dangerous US politician in history! Maybe try asking Henry Kissinger? She has been cleared of all serious wrongdoing. Yet I foresee a future in which the same small cabal of right wing mudslingers will take her down like they never could take down Obama. He was too strong, but she might be vulnerable. And that means that American political discussion (if you didn't think it possible) will reach yet another low.
@tiernan wearen you misunderstand. To give an example of what this person means, I scrolled down and saw 1 argument about Mitch, 2 about Bernie vs Hillary, and like 8 on Trump so far
You don't talk like a normal politician, so I'm gonna agree with you. You don't use a teleprompter, so I'm gonna agree with you. You say out loud what I was thinking, so I'm gonna agree with you. You have the same fears as me, so I'm gonna agree with you. You are the same religion as me, so I'm gonna agree with you. You are the same color as me, so I'm gonna agree with you.
I'm a passionate Hillary supporter. I have been all my life. I heard some harsh things about Hillary in this video that I disagree with. So I sat back and said to myself "Hmm, that is another way of looking at it." My opinions have not changed, however, I have more information now and feel like a more informed human being. Maybe because I didn't put my fingers in my ears and go "lalalalala" the second I heard something I didn't like. Instead I-here's the kicker-listened.
Noor Khabbaz Not voting? I am talking about the people who would like to vote for a 3rd party but don't because that party doesn't win. You have to vote for the person you support and not vote against the one you don't support.
I recently went to a Clinton rally and I can affirm this is true. she came to my university and at her speech she congratulated us on our recent football win, homecoming and some cool facts or issue about my school I didn't know and she implemented it in her speech by saying she had a plan for this already and went on explaining it. She also talked to us about her personal life in college and how she had faced some issues many of us are facing rn. She def seems a lot different in person
***** You do realize they mentioned him in the video? I didn't just come here to bash Hillary. They said Hillary listens and Bernie is more of a speaker.
conan263 And if I were him I would have done the same thing. Trump is a much worse candidate than Clinton. And why would voters get a refund for a donation.
conan263 I think America has survived crooked politics for years. It's nothing new. She at least has a lot of experience in government unlike Trump. Trump has had many failures and crooked dealings as a business man. Simply I don't think he is smart enough to run the country. And lastly the money donations to his campaign was used for many purposes like paying any of his paid staff, plane trips across the country, security at rallies, and renting out places to have campaign events. The joke is only on the uninformed like you.
They openly pointed out this issue in the video. The Goldman Sachs scandal seemed more like naivete on her part, and she deserves to be held accountable. The rest of her pandering for fundraising is just how the system works these days. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
so she's either corrupt and takes their money despite knowing the bad they do or she's dumb and thinks they want nothing for their donations. Either way she shouldn't be the nominee
it's a fundamental problem with politics in this country and if the DNC hadn't rigged the primaries we'd have an unbought candidate with Bernie Sanders. The media can talk about the source of the leaks which proved this all day but the content is undeniable
Who exactly do you think she is lobbying for, and what gives you the impression that Trump doesn't or wouldn't also accept money from lobbyists? Do you think filthy rich people have no desire to obtain even more money? News flash: Trump loves money and is comfortable with lying. He is a salesman, and you're being suckered.
To all of those who called this video a propaganda, do us a favor and look up the word, then come back and find anything that is and isn't. If you did find parts that aren't propaganda, then it isn't.
This is not so much propaganda, as false. People around Clinton have only reported they despise her. This video clearly exists to change people's thoughts and it's obvious this journalist has received bonus money to make it since it trashes his credibility.
***** She's done a lot more obviously bad stuff that isn't conspiracy level. Like refer to blacks as super predators, or help someone she knew was a child rapist not get sent to prison. Or the fact that she supported openly racist politicians the same time Bernie was marching with mlk. Also add all the Gates she's been involved in and the massive number of lies. I'm actually not even right wing and neither are many of the people that despise her.
***** She still said it. She apologised for her image, not because she knows it's wrong. And no, the child rapist thing is factual. And she talked about how happy she was to be one of those girls that followed the guy. It had nothing to do with following her father. Oh yeah and we can add the fact that she was good mates with that KKK guy. She's the typical corrupt politician.
***** The fact that she's still clearly a racist AND her massive number of proven lies shows she was being genuine. And read the snopes thing, they never deny she did it, they try to imply she regrets it, based on nothing. No she did this later on And funny that she's taking so much money from the KKK then. More than trump and They're supporting her too. I doubt he truly regrets his affiliation. And she hasn't turned away from anything. At best she's flip flopped. And I'm not an anyone supporter. I used to think she was Ok and that Trump was awful, then I actually looked into their policies and history.
Actually the journalist guy is wrong. This guy is obviously not a trained lawyer (not even close). As a lawyer, you are not supposed to have presupposed positions and what you need to do is to formulate the most solid arguments for your clients.. She listens and spots the issues immediately because she is that good of a lawyer. When you are on a defense team, you are not going to care if the other team members just tried to kill your mother, you focus on doing what is best for your clients. The ability to work on behalf of the people without regards for personal feelings is exactly the reason why people on her team admires her but those who dont understand her find her cold and pretentious. But make no mistake, she understands politics and she understands people. When she becomes the president, be warned Republicans, that can may be the first of many Democratic years to come.
For everybody who's disliking the video without watching and assuming that Vox is too liberal, just watch the whole video ffs. They do criticize her towards the end (which I know will give all you Trump supporters a hard on)
Vox isn't liberal. They're the Washington bubble incarnate, if you want to give them the benefit of the doubt. 3/4 of this video presents a most sugar coated interpretation of events, with only the last 1/4 being remotely neutral.
***** Hillary isn't liberal either. No liberal or progressive worth their salt buys that. Only her party hack friends regurgitate that nonsense. Her platform is "No We Can't", and is built on curbing liberal momentum. She prides herself on being a "centrist", and even that would be a strange term, considering that she's not ideological, but simply bought exactly like most politicians instead.
To be fair most of America is moderate. A little left and a little right, but not hardcore one way or the other. That's the people that lie beyond 1 standard deviation from the mean. That's why we put them on TV. It's not normal and thus entertaining.
I have clearly been too biased towards Hillary Clinton, I've focused on the things she has done in the past, the bad ones, yet I have ignored the good in her. Not only does she have the experience, she also stand for many people rights and care for each individuals. To have referred to only the deeds in the past does not represent her as a whole , but that was what I did. However, since I have now seen both sides, I am supporting her next elections along side Bernie, hopefully
Vox finally figured that to increase Hillary's winchances they need to stop making videos on how bad Trump will be and start making commercials for Hillary.
That is what's wrong with liberal media. Vox is a news site. Their job is to provide information in an objective way, not be an advertisement agency for Clinton.
I'm watching this in 2018, and honestly a lot could also be applied to Elizabeth Warren. She listens. But she also talks, in a way I didn't feel Hillary did.
@SamuraiKage1 Having Faith in the Government is a good thing. And believing that they should be more Community and Country Oriented than Company. But Listening and Talking are both important parts of being a Leader. You need to learn when to Listen and when to Talk. When to Compromise and when to Insist they try your Ideas. Most Politicians from what I've seen are mostly interested in Talking. Hilary seems to only listen and doesn't seem to try to insert her opinion in some circumstances. Good but if she is to be a more effective leader she also needs to talk to others. In a way she needs to show confidence and not act like a Chess player who waits for the others to make the move. She needs to be more assertive is what Im saying.
I've watched the video, and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a big part of the argument the fact that some of these people don't work for Hillary anymore? Look, I'm not picking a side here, I'm not even American, I watch American politics for fun, I just want to know whether it's me or you that misunderstood something.
Pure propaganda? It's stupid people like you that fail to accept the reality that's she's HUMAN, believe it or not. You're not even TRYING to consider that because you have so much HATE towards her.
You don't usually see flaws and concerns in a propaganda piece. Being indecisive when flooded with contradicting ideas in a crisis is an incredible bad characteristic for a president, and he outlined that clearly and fairly. Sure it was softly framed in a way short of saying, "Hopefully she'll work on that.", but it was the main theme of the piece. She listens well and it is very helpful, but it also back fires to the point of blowing up in her face. Looks like a fair statement to me.
Derek Armstrong : The Clintons, combined, are worth $249 million according to Forbes Magazine. Nothing to laugh at, but considering she and Bill have published several hot-selling books and the fact that each of them are in high demand for speaking gigs, not outside the honest if overpaid world. Not being familiar with her thinking about war, I can't offer anything on that, but I will say it sounds like typical anti-Clinton opinion. I'm not a particular Clinton fan but when you compare her to Trump as a politician, there's no debating the difference. Judging by your comment I'd say you're influenced by anti-Clinton sources. I suggest you keep your mind open and not buy into the conspiracy theories. I realize Bill Clinton is widely disliked, including by me, but Hillary is not Bill and if the choice comes down to she or Trump, it's a no-brainer.
Rock About ?? You’re a Clinton shill. Hillary Clinton received large amounts of donations from corporations and even went so far as to allow deregulation of campaign financing that Obama put into place within the DNC. Which shows she isn’t an honest politician but instead shows that she is a corporatist democrat at heart, no different from Bill Clinton. On war, she’s a warhawk. She voted for and supported the Iraq war. Which was a disaster and she only opposed it when the political climate made it essential for her to do so if she wanted to keep her position. She supported and played a vital role in the Libyan intervention. Which turned Libya into a giant warzone with a government that has failed to install order ever since its creation. The Libyan intervention also is the reason why the refugee crisis is so bad. She wanted a no fly zone and boots on the ground in Syria in the midst of a civil war and when Russia had a carrier battlegroup off the coast of the country and were conducting air operations. A no fly zone alone would cause massive political tension with Russia, possibly even a war. There is also the fact that she was spouting some serious anti Russia rhetoric and was being extremely disrespectful towards Putin. She also supported and sought after regime change in Venezuela and Iran. Both cases would turn those countries into war zones. The final fact here is that she was a massive flip flopper. I’m not even going to list all the examples because there’s too many. Edit: it’s not too bad she lost. It’s a good thing. She would of been a foreign policy disaster and 100% would of failed to bring back jobs and stop offshoring
The Joker: If support for a candidate who opposed the criminal Trump means I'm a shill I'll have to plead guilty. Clinton's State Department behavior is held out as self-serving by her detractors, a position that is not unsurprising. Myself, I would not rank her as particularly accomplished at State and I will say only extraordinarily capable secretaries can be regarded as effective given the complexities of world affairs today. Of course everyone has their opinion of her and how she's regarded is informed strongly by people's opinion of her husband. It seems she's now destined for lifelong detraction. No actions by a Secretary of State will escape criticism - it goes with the job. Spouting the opinions put forth by the likes of Breitbart and Gateway Pundit, though, is more hit-piece than helpful.
remember when we thought trump couldnt win

True, but you can't win the presidency without them. She is usually good at forming relationships with anyone, except this group which is poor tactic when campaigning for presidency. This might be the point that Trump wins on. You can be a horrible person as long as you get more air time and never stop talking to the press. People will vote for whatever is on TV the most.
Something tells me most people disliked this video without even watching the entirety of the video.
Raul Martinez
I watched the entire video.
Raul Martinez
Dude Clinton has a conflict of interest with the banks because of her privately taking millions of $ from them. I see this as a fact. Like the sky being blue. It's not a matter of opinion or open to interpretation. But still the reason I didn't vote, donate or volunteer for her is because I disagree with her policies.

Watching this today is so depressing....
lol, if you thought this was depressing a year ago I wonder what is it like now. Is there anything even below depression?
Well November is not that far away.
Let's wait and see if there is going to be any change.
I wake up everyday with a big smile on my face knowing that she will never ever ever be president. And that's a great thing.
By that I mean I don't give a rats arse about the Prime Ministers family or pets or religious affiliation...etc...etc. I don't care if they are 'nice', 'confident' or 'love the country!', and even if I did, whether they can present those characteristics while on campaign has very little to do with their political decisions while in power. To me, the only things that should really matter are, in order of importance;
A. their intelligence and broader competency
B. their position on _specific_ political issues e.g. GM crops, nuclear energy, HS2 (a controversial railway line)...etc
C. their broader ideological positioning.

Well the problem here is that's the only parts of the protests that you're allowed to see.
There are two parts to this:

I will say that the core of the video is a bit vacuous in trying to convince us that "she listens." Some of the Clinton history was good to learn, but I would prefer them try to convince me that "she is principled" rather than "she listens"; the loudest voices tend to be the ones with lobbyists. Some of the negative things 'people say about her' is that ''She is a liar, corrupt, and highly untrustworthy.'' For a part, that´s based upon - and rightfully so - the moment at 12:17. Oh most definitely, though the number of such unbiased outlets grows smaller every day, I feel like.

Don’t even wanna scroll down to see all the hate 🤦🏽♂️
@tiernan wearen you misunderstand. To give an example of what this person means, I scrolled down and saw 1 argument about Mitch, 2 about Bernie vs Hillary, and like 8 on Trump so far
You sound smart so I'm gonna agree with you
You don't talk like a normal politician, so I'm gonna agree with you.
Cool potato cool
Cool potato Cool potato not so cool. You don't deserve those shades.
j
VOX wtf! I will never trust the credibility of this journalist.
Instead I-here's the kicker-listened.
lol, I'm voting for Hillary too but because I hate poor people.
+ultimate512 😂😂
No, if you listened you wouldn't support her.
.
"I DIDN'T PUT MY FINGERS IN MY EARS AND GO "LALALALALA"
AAAAHAHAHAHA
THAT'S THE WHOLE PREMISE OF BEING A CLINTON SUPPORTER AAAAAHAHAHAHA
All people that vote for Hillary to not let Trump win are exactly what is wrong with America's politics.
and vice versa
Yeah, neither of them should win. This comment just makes me look like a trump supporter but I am not lol
cant we agree that trump would be worse? how is not voting helpful
Noor Khabbaz Not voting? I am talking about the people who would like to vote for a 3rd party but don't because that party doesn't win. You have to vote for the person you support and not vote against the one you don't support.
Bill Long Like come on you actually believe either Shillary or Dump will be good?
I'll always wish that Hillary had won.
Same
I'll always be glad she didn't
same
Do you have the transcripts of all the interviews you held with her colleagues ?
You did a great job covering this. I liked your video. Upvoted.
why are all the comments about the channel being biased, because im from germany and for me it seemes pretty legitimate
it´s just odd how its every time about being biased and not about the information in the video
Normally vox isn’t that bad... especially when compared to fox (and friends). The right really hate it for some reason tho
How bout that muslim invasion? Never mind, you’ll probably go charged with a hate crime if you answer.
Tyrion Lennister Substitute Germany with Austria and I was thinking the exact same thing.
Joe Mamma... what muslim invasion? did I miss something? Have you ever even been to the country?
Miss Ezra at vox. Listen to his pod every episode though. Thoughtful, concise and insightful
Listening? Bernie was listening to the people who need help the most.
Yeah but he is not an option anymore so you might as well look ahead now.
***** You do realize they mentioned him in the video? I didn't just come here to bash Hillary. They said Hillary listens and Bernie is more of a speaker.
VisibleSigns But I'm saying is he has been listening to what people want for years which is why he can speak on it with the passion which he does.
conan263 And if I were him I would have done the same thing.
The joke is only on the uninformed like you.
is there a thumb sidways button
2:23 for a second i read that as "tom hanks" and was instantly in a rush to find her cameo in forest gump
okay she's a good listener. But your gonna ignore who she actually listens to? the corporate donors and rich lobbyist
Either way she shouldn't be the nominee
every politician listens to corporate donors and lobbyists. it's not a democrat thing or a republican thing, it's western politics.
it's a fundamental problem with politics in this country and if the DNC hadn't rigged the primaries we'd have an unbought candidate with Bernie Sanders.
Shes pretty good at listening to her donors.
The best lies are half truths. Great listener my ass.
You need an education badly.
did u know Uncle Sam was propaganda? most people don't and don't want to even acknowledge it as propaganda.
this aged well
"I didn't watch the video, but here's my opinion about it...."
She does get things done. bad things.
***** if only that were true
No she did this later on
And funny that she's taking so much money from the KKK then. More than trump and They're supporting her too. I doubt he truly regrets his affiliation.
And she hasn't turned away from anything. At best she's flip flopped.
And I'm not an anyone supporter. I used to think she was Ok and that Trump was awful, then I actually looked into their policies and history.
***** Says the person that thinks Hillary isn't an awful person
LOL
I love how you covered this story of Hillary Clinton!!!!!!!!! Kudos to you sir.💯
Vox... your bias is showing.
It belongs to her daughter, as I heard.
+Maduranga Sirisena vox is owned by Chelsea?
Is this bias, or analyzing the facts and presenting them in their own way ?
Opinions = Bias?????
Retardosaurusrex For "journalism" yes...
She may listen, but she doesn't hear.
lol you do know thats a compliment right?
oh honey
You have it switched around mate.
That's pretty much a good thing
It's ok, mate, you tried.
3/4 of this video presents a most sugar coated interpretation of events, with only the last 1/4 being remotely neutral.
lol, Vox is in the bag for Hillary, always has been.
Don't kid yourself, Vox is a hard-left propagandist news source.
I'm sorry M Kn, are you this objective when watching Fox News, of course not, and I don't blame you, like Vox, they are biased towards their party
You know who does both listening AND talking? Bernie Sanders.
Vox before election: This is how Hillary will govern.
Vox after election: (crickets)
Why would they make a follow-up when she getting get elected?
#letgarydebate You have a third option America
What is Aleppo
LMAO
Gary Johnson is just as bad tbh
Will he have figured out where Aleppo is by the time the debates roll around?
He's a douche!
Thanks for your support! I love Bernie and am grateful to Hillary. These things are not mutually exclusive.
This was he most informative video I have ever watched
Vox finally figured that to increase Hillary's winchances they need to stop making videos on how bad Trump will be and start making commercials for Hillary.
Amazingly, it took until September for them to even start to adapt. Start. I wonder when they'll start to adapt to ethics.
That is what's wrong with liberal media. Vox is a news site. Their job is to provide information in an objective way, not be an advertisement agency for Clinton.
why do you mention ethics?
If this is a commercial he did a pretty crappy job by including all the criticism.
where is the criticism? (not being confrontational i just only see examples of hillarys personality in the video which seem neutral.)
Holy shit--I didn't realize she was among the first politicians to speak about the opioid crisis and demand action.
Hillary bots where you at?
Working at Vox
Beep boop Clinton is so bzzzt shutting dowwwn
outnumbering you.
RealComp5 Haha good one !
Talking logic and reason in the face of the despicable and hateful cries of the wingnuts who support Trump...
This is such subtle and in-depth journalism. Vox is the cynosure of news to reckon with.
I'm watching this in 2018, and honestly a lot could also be applied to Elizabeth Warren. She listens. But she also talks, in a way I didn't feel Hillary did.
@SamuraiKage1
Having Faith in the Government is a good thing.
"Yes my boss is a nice person, make sure you report that"
I've watched the video, and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a big part of the argument the fact that some of these people don't work for Hillary anymore?
Look, I'm not picking a side here, I'm not even American, I watch American politics for fun, I just want to know whether it's me or you that misunderstood something.
At least she's better than Trump
They're both horrible.
+Hugh Mungus amen to that
she's worse than Trump
+Parker Wiles. I agree with you man. 🙏♎️👏👍😇
+Hugh Mungus 🍆
You always find what you're looking for
despite the huge backslash on this video, i appreciate this very much. really good exploration on who hilary is, as well as her advantages and flaws.
"he will probably find she is a pretty good listener" :D gj
This pure propaganda. I forced myself to watch until he began trying to justify Iraq. She is always strongly in favour of Iraq.
zzzzzzzz
Cute. You know who won't be sleeping? The hundreds of thousands she has helped murder.
Pure propaganda? It's stupid people like you that fail to accept the reality that's she's HUMAN, believe it or not. You're not even TRYING to consider that because you have so much HATE towards her.
Max Salgado Personal attack. Well done.
It's too bad Clinton lost. She's an able politician. Americans would be safer and better regarded in the world.
No they wouldn't. She's as corrupt as Trump and loves war.
Rock About because a no fly zone in Syria, would make Americans be safer and better regarded.
