Love the channel! I’ll be in Phuket for 3 days in April. Can’t wait. I’m bringing my gear and plan on getting content for my channel. Maybe I’ll run into Thailand Tony!!😃
Hey Tony, Im coming t o phuket with family, wife and a 4yr girl. i will be staying there for 14 days. have a choice of staying near phuket town or near bang tao. very confused since I am travelling to phuket for first time. we are looking for a relaxed holiday with lot of good street food and entertaining the kid with phuket attractions. thinking of getting a rental car to move around. could you kindly suggest which area should be good or if anything else you can recommend. thanks.
Hi Ravi thank you for posting the question, Two very different places here, on one hand you have a great beach area " Bangtao " and on the other you have a lovely oldie worldie town with many areas to explore its very hard to say which is better as this really comes down to what you prefer best but i would recommend hiring a car because there are a lot of things to see and do in Phuket and by far the best way to do this at your leisure is via your own transport, i have two video on bangtao and the nearby area launga which may give you a better idea about this area: (Bangtao) : ruclips.net/video/cQ8AeYuU8DM/видео.html (Launga) ruclips.net/video/_G6wbXBCkL4/видео.html i have also done a video on a sunday market that takes place in Phuket town which is well worth visiting ruclips.net/video/gXiCQ-MiQ5g/видео.html however this does not show the town so at some point i will be doing a video about Phuket town but of course this does not help with your question try and do as much research as you can about these places and phuket in general this will give you a lot better picture which is going to suit your needs better you can't go wrong in phuket town for food there's loads of choices, at the beach area your not going to have as much but there is still a reasonable amount of choice but just remember the beach area caters for the tourist where as phuket town you have a lot more local people. Things to do here in Phuket well there's a lot Big buddha is well worth a visit as are some of the very beautiful temples there are elephant rides, beaches, island trips, shows etc etc again this come down to what you like Ravi the key is to do research and then match what best suits you, 1 last thing if your hiring a vehicle just make sure you bring the correct documents ie driving licence and international driving licence permit then you shouldn't have any problems 👍
Thank you for your response. I will be renting a car directly from the airport. I like to explore at my pace as you mentioned. I more interested in spending a relaxed time at the beach and having some good food. I've done a bit of a research and Phuket town looks good till now. Thank you
