These guys were one of many great reasons living in Canada was and still is awesome. Their songs and videos were circulated just as much as any other big band during their time.
These guys played their comeback show at Ancaster Fair in Southern Ontario... it was totally free, I was front row, and I've got to say- those 3 dudes sound like a 5 piece band, and I they rocked our socks, balls out, pedal to the medal
I have been a faithful follower of Tea Party since I first listen to Splendor Solis, and I can honestly say that Seven Circles is an AMAZING album, just like everything they have put out so far, including Jeff's solo effort. Probably one of the 5 best rock artists of all time, the Tea Party are brave enough to keep on changing, and yes EVOLVING, just like true artists are bound to. Beautiful and complex, yet far from arrogant. Modern music in its most poetic expression.

Mine and my first boyfriend's song was "Correspondences" and even though that was well over 15 years ago when I hear it I think of him. This band imo has gotten better with time and I hope they continue to produce music in the future.
Jeff is in the studio working on the new solo album. From what I've heard he's revisiting The Tea Party sound. I'm excited. Not as excited as if he was revisiting it with Stuart and Jeff B again though.
I think this song is a good example of a band trying to break from their normal feel. If you want to make it in a music career you have to do something diffrent after a while and I think these guys did a pretty good job even though it may lack some of the sound that is sort of unique to tea party

Actually Jeff Martin left the band after a disagreement about where the sound was going to go... The other two members thought that they should go more mainstream, but Jeff disagreed. That's the story that has been told anyway.

@mobrules29 You should check out their other songs / videos on RUclips - Sister Awake , Heaven Coning Down, Temptation, Walking Wounded etc. These three guys were amazing especially live. FYI I liked Dio as well , especially when he was with Sabbath!
It's a shame you feel that way because this was their most commercial album and therefore my least favorite. I'd still listen to it over most music but their early stuff is where the Blues/Middle Eastern music really shined. They used over 30 instruments on The Edges Of Twilight and as far as musicianship/songwriting/versatility/intensity goes I haven't heard an album in my life that tops that.
I've heard temptation never listened to great big lie but like everyone else they are not perfect and they express their thoughts even when they are having doubts etc there songs are overwhelmingly Christian in content check out Babylon, or Heaven Coming Down Sister Awake etc
speakers REALLY matter, if you have ever played with old speakers and new speakers you would understand that, new ones genrally take most of the emotion and tone out of songs
