I'm completely in love with that bass solo. One of his best in my opinion. And that last note is not from the recording of the song; it's just them goofing off in the video. 😁
Thanks for reviewing my currently most favourite Dirty Loops song, Steve ☺️ That last Henrik solo is so effing epic… it swings like mad, it funks and it oozes the blues, and as you’ve said, it grows on you -at least it did on me, big time. Aron -my god 🔥 not just is his kit ridiculous, his breaks during the bridgy sections are a masterclass onto themselves🤯 And I can’t enough of Jonah’s vocal layers, his singing overall and his keys harmonizations! These guys, apart from being the funnest and funniest dudes, are just outta this world…… Btw, in this song the credits shine bright! 😎😜🤣⭐️ hope you can check them out in your own time. And when you next talk to Dirty Looos again, ask them who shreds during those credits 💥💥💥 Thanks again for a super reaction ☺️🙏🤘🤟
You are lucky more gold to dig into on the EP - and do check out the credits when you get the time. It'll be worth it! 🤪I love Stevies song (I actually think we sung it in music class in high school) and I must admit first time I heard Dirty Loops' cover I was a bit disappointed - but that changed when I listened again. Now I absolutely love it!
The drum solos look sped up but that is a simple camera trick if done while filming. Just increase the shutter speed. Then fadt movement gets sharper. Old action movie trick to make fights look more intense. You loose light doing this and may have to compensate bby opening up the Iris more or increase the gain. The latter may cause a moisy image unless you have good lighting conditions since it makes the sensor work harder. Cheers!
Hey Alfonso, thanks for that thing about the camera trick 😉 And whilst I think they’ve definitely have done it with Henrik’s foot right at the beginning, tapping his pedal board 🤣, I’m not yet convinced that they’ve done it with Aron’s solos. Maybe you’re right. But Aron is doing some ridiculously damn fast and hard playing there… 🔥😱🔥
You are ALWAYS spot on with your reaction and comments about DL 😃 I’m actually going to my third Dirty Loops concert tonight here in Copenhagen. And THAT is always a f…king excellent masterclass, and joyful and fun ❤️
If you want the funk thing pushed to the limit a little more, check Louis Cole's new album "nothing" which is streamed completely on his channel. And if we talk about Mr. Cole, also check Knower and the sick project Clown Core.
@@GES8215 It won’t change anything when it comes to Dirty Loops. He was just their manager and he closed down the artist management division in 2023, so they haven’t been affiliated with him while releasing this EP. In the Beagle song credits on Tidal the record company is “Dirty Loops Records”, and Phoenix and Turbo were also self released (Turbo together with “Roundwood Media,, LLC” which I guess is Cory Wong’s). For the music world his death is still a great loss though. He certainly had a special nose for talent.
That bass solo was longer than it needed to be because they cut the entire story verse-wise out of the song, which are heavy, and just kept the somewhat lighter parts. I hate that they did that. Probably could/should have been an instrumental the whole way through.
The extra note was priceless

Man every time they drop something new it’s even better than the last. Love these guys so much.
That extra note made it a masterpiece ✊🏻
You might be right… I can’t think of a better ending. Such joy.

The Christmas present comes early as Steve reviews DL. Always as good and interesting.
I just love it.
Aron is something.......they all are ❤
Master class!!!!!!
Gran REACCION!! Te falta por escuchar "Going On A Date" And "Final Touch" Saludos :).
The extra note was almost the equivalent of ending with a fart sound, but you know me-that would just make it even better in my opinion 😂

My turn tomorrow in Aarhus - can't wait. So glad the new EP came out before the concert. I've been waiting for that since they released "Run away".
@@martinhansen1922 oh man, ENJOY!!!
@@ingefiddlehow was the show? I know they have a new set since I saw them in April. What’s the new set?
Don’t miss out the program for Henrik’s 40th birthday when you’ll get a chance to donate to Henrik’s hair transplant.

No such thing as a Hendrik Linder bass solo that is too long sir. Blasphemy! 😂
🤣👍
What's bettr than the Kaje Paule &. Mile Ttyon fight...this!
that drum kit is what would have happened if mike portnoy decided to play funk instead of prog metal lol
What’s gonna happen with Quincy gone.

@@lottawiklund8606 thanks for that lowdown.
Yes, Quincy was incredible, a super musician in many ways…
