Great video. We have pay as you go gas and electric as well. We like it as we always know how much it'll be. We split as there's 4 of us in the house we do £50 a week and gave an allocated week for each of us x

Honey, you go get your nails done! You have to do things for yourself. For me it’s hair and massages. I get my hair done every six weeks and get a massage once a month (both are happening this week!). These are my ways of spoiling myself. I justify it by the fact that I don’t smoke or drink, and I don’t drive. 😅

Hello, newbie here to cash stuffing/budgeting. Loved this video especially on low budget. I just wanted to ask 2 things - what video editor do you use to edit videos? And what you use to hold the camera for the over head shot? I'm keen to start making videos from the beginning of my budgeting journey and not sure who to ask. Thank you in advance!! ❤

Hey Katie! Thank you so much for tuning in 🥹 personally I use Adobe Premier Pro but I started off with iMovie! I also have a tripod that I was kindly gifted for my birthday a while ago so I have it set up in a funny way so it’s half on my desk and half on the floor 😂 I might do a video one day showing my set up if you’d find that useful? 🤔🥰❤️

@budgetwithdee thank you so much for replying! Yes that would be super helpful!! Just trying to budget for the expense 😂 before setting anything up. I feel like there's a big community but just not sure where to start. I follow you and many others on insta too. But this is super helpful!! ❤️ x

With the nails you can get them written off your tax bill for your self employment income because they're important for your work - speak to your accountant about it

    • @peaceout6359

You can say that having the nails is necessary for good and professional presentation and improves your work so you can bring more income in

Oh my GOSH. I didn’t even think of this!! I’m not sure if there would be issues because I pay it in cash but I’m sure they’d be able to give me a receipt if I asked for one 🤔 thank you so much! I’ll definitely talk to my accountant about it 🥰

@budgetwithdee yes absolutely get receipts because its proof but its not like HMRC check all receipts they just look at the accounts but the receipts are good for your own record if HMRC ever ask for proof. Glad to share something that could be useful! 💫
