L/Ss of mountains ruined building in front of them. Palace at foot of mountains- -both from distance & closer of details. Marshes. Sunset over mountains. Various shots of snow-covered mountains in distance. Pan on city at foot of mountains with ancient-looking buildings. Street scene; w/ people walking; men wearing long jackets; some have blankets wrapped around them like shawls; & turbans. Interior. Two men sit on floor; working (1 repairing shoes). Market street w/ goods displayed outdoors blankets stacked up on tables; clothes hanging in window; etc. Street w/ many men on walking up & down. Large newer building; exterior; has long balconies; man & woman walking past. Interior: hospital wing; w/ row of patients in beds. Western nurse; Afghan orderly; man in suit all standing.
