Protestos em frente do Ministério das Finanças em Quito, Equador

Hundreds gathered outside the Finance Ministry in Quito, Ecuador to demand that authorities disburse overdue payments and stop unconstitutional budget cuts against Autonomous Local Governments. In response, armed police were deployed to block the citizens from entering the building. According to the local governments, these protests are indefinite and will take place across the country. Due to the overdue payments, local authorities have reportedly been forced to stop all public works in rural areas, affecting the most vulnerable citizens.
