I'm not a Sacrificial Offering! Tearfully End For the Dog After 5 Years Serving The Army
This dog's job was to detect explosives - mainly keep soldiers safe from mines. He did it perfectly. He couldn't stop the soldier from stepping on the mines, so he ran towards it and Boom! Half of his front leg was blown off, and the rest of his body was riddled with explosives. So what was his award for his courage and dedication? NOTHING. Yes, you heard that right. They left the dog like that. For five agonizing days, he lay in excruciating pain, hoping that at any moment, these people who he trusted would help him.
But, they figured it was his job, and whether he lived or died was on him.
Thankfully, someone learned of him and alerted an animal rescuer.

There are absolutely no words to describe how thankful that this true hero was saved and loved by such good people in the end. What a beautiful and gorgeous sweet boy of an angel.
Extreme shame on the soldiers who left them after saving their life. I'm so ashamed of how such "men" could be such cowards. Inhumane and cruel after everything he did for them. They all should be reported and punished to the fullest extent. And then some more. Thought that the these kind of people were all stick together, including the four legged soldiers. Thought that everyone including their four legged soldiers were all family. Absolutely no need.

After all this loyal dog had done to save those soldiers lives these soldiers did nothing to help this brave dog when it stood on the mine these inhumane selfish soldiers who didn’t bother to care for the dog when it stood on the mine to protect them makes me think it would’ve been better if this brave rescue dog weren’t there and the soldiers were left to there fate - stepping on to a mine.

As a military spouse, this absolutely appalled. There are no words strong enough to relay my disgust that a military member treated like as disposable, especially an actual hero. It fills my heart that he is adopted and will be treasured and upheld like the selfless hero he is.

I cannot believe the army would abandon a dog once it was hurt. The poor darling must be so untrusting of people now. Very cruel to do this to the dog. So glad you found the dog and rescued it and attended to his leg. I’m assuming you have looked after his leg as the video is still running. My heart hut so much seeing how sad the dog was.
