We used to play Earthdawn RPG to the 95er Album of DVKE fitted quite well to the Barsaive atmossphere, epic battles and Kaer digging stuff:) Aah bittersweet taste of nostalgy, this ancient times are long forgotten now...
Die Verbannten Kinder Evas. Hail. Беларусь.г.Орша 09.07.2022.
Hard to believe that a medieval darkwave neoclassical folk album released one score ago could sound so majestic and grand yet so simultaneously truthful in its brute honesty and overall tone. A timeless work of Protector, the 21st century equivalent to the mighty Mozart!
when you find a genre full of epic and "movie" music, that exist more than 20 years and almost nobody knows about it... came to dungeon synth from black metal, not disapointed :)
It's weird how old this stuff is, yet few knew about it until recent years AND it sounds so new. Part of it must be the heavy use of synths was out of style in the mid 90's, but now synth music is extremely popular so it sounds contemporary again.
#.6 The Past. 28:07 Did another band cover this song? And if so, what is the name of the band? Or did I find the song again. I'm confused. I heard the song but not from Kinder Evas.
The beginning reminds me vaguely of Lamenation - Transylvania (The land beyond eternal black forests). But the two are definitely two different songs. I don't know if this song was ever covered.
The Best band of all times 🩷🩷🩷👌👌👌
Silenius and Protector side project... awesome...

Same, I pretty much left metal and this genre is now my new sanctuary.
But this is not dungeon synth...
