One of my ancestors, Edouard Hyenne, captain of the whaler Angelina, from Le Havre, France, disappeared in this atoll in december 1844, together with 13 members of his crew.. 3 french war ships went to the atoll (named Mulgraves at that time) in 1845 and 1846 to look for survivors without success. I gathered a lot of information in french historical archives. If Mili inhabitants want to know more about this story, which have never been published, I shall be pleased to give them interesting details such as maps ou drawings done at that time. I dream to see one day those beautiful islands and meet their inhabitants. Anyway thank you again for the video
