together in the desert

"together in the desert" a documentary poem? I am not sure what to call it, but Noelle and I went backpacking in the desert to relax, look at red rocks and just be together and we went to a very special place. My dad use to love this place too, I found his photos, I guess he liked to party in the desert with his friends 50 years ago. Our trip was all about quiet time, arts and crafts, reading and of course swimming. I was reading "Kayak Morning" by Roger Rosenblatt. Here is a brief book review on Kayak Morning. (Kayak Morning at only 6 oz is the perfect backpacking read. Thoughtful- a little adventure, a little love and lots of thoughts about the importance of nature and family. The Talking Fly digs this book, Thanks dad - (it was a gift from him.) I recommend this book) OK the music I use it from Epidemic Sound (epidemic sound.com). I shot this video with a Sony A7s2 with a 16mm f 2.8 pancake lens shooting APS-C at 1080 and I also used a GoPro. I did not share the location of this trip, but would be glad to take you there if you want to go.
