      So much has changed, yet so much is the same. I can remember Chester back in the 70s.

    Colin, you have a photo of The Butchers Arms with houses being demolished opposite, whereabouts was this, although it looks like Middle Chare, the building at the back, has got us all puzzled.

      It is Middle Chare Mary

      The building at the back Mary is Cestria School Now

      That's what we thought, but if you stand in the same place as the photographer, you would see the churchyard of the parish church, Cestria school is to the right and hidden out of view, also the windows are much different to what is there now, that is what has thrown us, and made us wonder if it is Middle Chare in Chester. I have had everyone I know onto it and they are all of the opinion that it isn't in Chester.
