    I love your ethics of doing the right thing. Returning the school equipment is a home run thank you.

    OG GR. I've always admired your hustle and pure joy in doing what you do--whether it's thrifting across America and back or a warehouse sale or storage units. Keep on doing what you do.

    Personal Items (including remains): here in Washington state our laws require such items be given back to the facility and they have to hold them for a specified length of time. So for us, we box them and either take them to the office or if there are several boxes leave then in the unit’s corner and let the office know they are there. If the facility’s office is still open, I go by a and tell them, showing a photo of the clean unit. If the office is closed I e-mail the photo, showing where I left the personal property.

    Now that you’re sharing the auction side of your biz it’s great to see a storage unit go through your entire process. Other creators just show the digging, hauling and sorting, but you can show real achieved sales results, which makes these a great addition to your other videos! 😉

      The issue is that I’m not patient enough to wait until it’s all sold to show it on video lol

    • @brianhenry2385
      @brianhenry2385 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@ResaleRabbit Yes, patience is hard, but it sets you apart from others who video the buying and digging, but can only toss out random numbers regarding value. Having your own Auction to deal with lower value items, which is often what units are full of, is a great business model. We did the same thing for decades, but RUclips didn't exist back then.

    Hey rabbit, love the vids! I work at a storage facility and you can actually leave any personal belongings at the front office and we legally have to hold them for 1 month to give the previous tenant time to pick them up if they want them.

      Some facilities are great like that. Others don’t want it unfortunately.

    Had someone living in a unit i had stuff at. Would see the door closed and no lock. Then see it locked up. When I went to tell them I'm moving out and why, they weren't too happy about it. Ended up getting a refund as long as I didn't call corporate. I didn't and moved out at the end of that month after the stuff i had there sold.

      I rent 2 units, I know of 5 people living in units. I think management is turning blind eye to it. It doesn't bother me because all of the units have sensors on the doors. If you don't enter the gate code first, an alarm will go off.

    Fire safes are only for protection from fire, or keeping kids' fingers out of something. A top shelf is better for the latter.

    I leave cremations in the unit with personal effects. That’s not my issue. I also leave behind anything obviously stolen. Seems like every unit I buy has a hand basket from a store, that’s where I put all their personal items, it’s clearly stolen, so I won’t take it.

    I definitely appreciate the candid-ness and attitude you have towards the herbs 😂
    But just something to think about, it is a pain management device legal within states. Also, a lot of people (myself included actually) make a living off of the industry, just like people make a living and enjoy Budweiser. I totally get it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, though. And I understand RUclips doesn’t like it either.
    Glad you got good profit out of that Herbal Keurig! 😂

      It was a reseller who cleaned it out. He got the inventory as payment and sold it off, so it’s unlikely anything usable ended up in the landfill.

      It will never be worthwhile with such a large local based business. Word gets out that he's selling products like that could result in a big loss in business. There is still a large portion of people that see even just "herb" as a hard drug and would not shop with him if they saw that. Just say he could get $100 for that glass, that could result in losing 100 customers. Beer steins and shot glasses don't have the same stigma. If you're local I'm sure he'd save them all for you and see them to you by the csse
