I'm one of those folks that love this show just because I love listening to you 3 dudes. Doesn't matter to me if you're talking about a movie or talking about your crazy car ride to a party 10+ years ago. I'm here for it all 🎉
I keep checking in on your guy’s channel because I dig the chemistry, conversation and camaraderie. You have my support in this pivot in content coverage!
Hector's tamales, Adam's halušky and Agustin's tacos episodes were what I was looking forward to! I am betrayed!! How dare you guys!? 🤣 edit: Oh... you guys are... ok then. Guess I can wait.
This is ride or die, homies. I am in for the long haul. I respect you even more knowing that your hearts and souls wants to support your fellow human beings who are struggling.
Totally agree with what you all were saying about long hours, living wages, etc!! A few years ago I watched a documentary series about the making of Frozen 2, expecting an interesting behind the scenes kind of thing, but it was mostly several hours of "let's watch Disney make its employees work 16 hour days and be extremely stressed and try to spin it as a totally ok thing to be happening"- like it was truly horrifying and I think put into perspective for me just how much it is all about the money with these corporations, and you're right, it's not just the entertainment industry! Anyway, glad you guys are finding a way to make videos while still supporting the strike!
Just wanna say, Superhero News, Hyper RPG, Heroes Reforged, or Czexicans we don't care. As long as it is the three of you. We will be there to support you. Watching you guys is like me listening to my best friends. I know your homies will support you too whatever your content may be. More power tres amigos!
If it's not too much trauma to delve into, your conversation about your own experiences in VFX was really interesting and I found myself nodding a lot based on all the people I know in Canada and New Zealand working in it. I'm a writer/director so I support the strikes on that level, but VFX is the wild west and so open to abuse due to the underbidding that goes on. Thanks to you guys for pivoting during the strike in solidarity, love your reactions.
You are sharing your value system and it is honorable. Adelante! We understand your intentions that come from your history in the business. We are here for you!
One door closes another opens. This can lead to you experiencing art that you would probably never have tried. I will forever continue to recommend 'tiger and bunny' which I think is the best superhero anime that rarely gets its deserved recognition.
Even though it's a small thing for you, I hope all three of you come to New Zealand for a trip at the same time so I can meet y'all. I've been watching since 2015 and y'all helped me through a major medical thing I went through in 2016. So I'm with y'all thick or thin. Ride or die.
I definitely support you guys for supporting the strike. I love all your videos and your chemistry with each other as well as your insights. No matter what you guys put out, I'll be here to watch it. Keep up the excellent work and keep standing up for what's right.
I loved this discussion. Re: physical media. Have they forgotten how much history of film was destroyed in the past by the studios themselves because no one valued it? It just feels so short sighted. In a couple generations without the physical copies widely distributed so much is going to be lost. Also I'm sure many of us found favorite books, shows, movies, etc by buying a second hand copy or getting it from the library or borrowing from a friend and none of those avenues are open with streaming shows. It's really sad
I 100% agree. I’ve tried to go back to buying more physical media because I just don’t trust that a studio won’t pull something that I love and banish it to the fucking shadow realm. I recently bought the full DVD set for Stargate, which is great, because in the past few years, streaming Stargate has moved from Netflix to Amazon to Paramount and then back to Amazon. It’s so annoying.
If the ship sinks, we're going down with ya homies! Ride or die! Love the updates and can't wait to get started in anime with y'all as well as the cooking specials. I've seen cowboy bebop, full metal alchemist and a few others but am very looking forward to this Pivot, i am excited and lets just say my content's vertical 🤣🤣
I appreciate the fact you guys are standing up for what you believe in, and while doing so, you’re educating us on the reality of the entertainment industry…and the day to day struggles of those people that keep the industry going. We will be here to support whatever content you guys choose to make and I’m hype for this cooking show! Also…I’m so, SO HAPPY you guys are starting your anime journey! The Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli) films are a great entry point. Especially Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howls Moving Castle, and KiKi’s delivery service. After I would strongly suggest guys to check out the Satoshi Kon films…Tokyo Godfathers, Memories, Paprika, Millennium actress. Then of course the classics like Akira!
Those who followed you on all the channels you worked on will watch you no matter what you post because of who you are, not for what you watch. Can't wait for the cooking episode😅
Yes. Regarding your experience in VFX: There's a lot of this in media work. My husband was in a different media industry for years; I never got used to telling my family and friends that he wouldn't be at birthdays, holiday gatherings, etc., and then he could have gotten better benefits working for fast food. But when he told people what he did for a living, they thought he was so lucky because of the media cool factor. Not a penny raise in years even though he contributed so much to the company's growth. Thankfully he reached his limit and quit. SAD and INFURIATING that people who are so skilled and passionate, are used by millionaires and billionaires to upkeep their ridiculous lifestyles.
This was my first comic con and it was fun walking around and yes the artist alley was a big thing for me getting lots of prints and also pins was fun for me and my highlight was meeting y’all and doing the outside experiences and picking up some nice comics I’ve never heard off too
I saw Nerdy Nightly's YT channel; when he announced what's what. I'm glad you guys know him, and got the full idea of what you can do here. I totally support whatever you guy decided to do
This is such an important discussion with so many key insights for anyone wondering what it’s really like and bolstering spirits to continue the strike.
Great video, it’s cool we understand and support you and the strike. I look forward to seeing those anime you will check out, the video games as well and of course the cooking specials too! I love your channel, very positive and just a fun time! Keep up the great work gentlemen!
Mucho chuffed to see my favorite trio of superhomies supporting their brethren and compeers so solidly. Also, great to see all three together again after lots of duo posts. Let's get cooking! Viva los CzechXicanos! 🤩
It was my first comic-con. My sister went to the composers panel and we both went to a bunch of anime panels and they were all completely full. I will say that I felt the people at star wars celebration which I also went to seemed a bit nicer. There were some grumpy peeps at comic con lol. But I guess it's understandable.
Reactions to anything of entertainment of all avenues is what I love seeing and the genuine feelings that’s no-holds bared keep it coming❤ hoping for the Miyazaki in release series🙏🏽🙏🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
Excited to see where we go while the strike is going on. I agree, I am here to watch a long with my homies and maybe find some new things to like and enjoy, though I did skip the GOT spinoff, but now kind to want to watch it for Hector's increasing apathy to it from episode to episode. Hope next year we will get the full trio at Mike Hess.
The people who pull out the “then get another job” card kill me. Either A.) They’re too stupid to realize if actors all got different jobs there wouldn’t be any movies or TV shows to watch, or B.) They’re so arrogant that the believe people should entertain them for free. “The honor of entertaining us alone should be enough payment for you.” Talk about shortsighted.
The general population has a gigantic misconception of associating every actor with being rich. That's incorrect thinking because only 1% of actors are in that bracket. Those are your superstars that you see all the time in every facet of media. This is about all those names in the credits at the end of every single film. You know when a movie ends & the majority of people get up and leave? In that moment, most people feel the exact same way as the studios and don't care about the names.
"I want this strike to set a precedent for the future." - This single sentence hit so hard. Totally unrelated, do some video game coverage before those strikes start..
I Started watching you guys because of the shows and movies you are discussing BUT if i didn't like you I wouldn't watch. I can always watch others. But i love the chatter so will still watch.
I like ur passion talking about the strike. My mom has been a struggling actress for 40+ yrs…it def makes me mad, too, when I see uninformed ppl saying actors are all rich. And one person even said ‘they must not be good actors if they’re poor’. They dont understand that tons of ppl audition for roles and also u dont see audition calls for every role that exists; u see what ur agent gets and what u find online (i assume; i havent acted since like 2006). So u can be a great actor and never make it big. Actually, pedro pascal is a good example bc he is an amazing actor but he didnt get his break until GOT, when he was like 38. Its all about access (pedro’s friend, sarah paulson, is friends with GOT creator’s wife) and what auditions u are lucky enough to be able to do. Question about ur vxf experience…why was employment so threatened on a weekly basis? Like, how is it that u could be worrying constantly about being let go? Is it cuz its based on the project’s budget?
For anime, I would definitely recommend basically anything from Ghibli though my personal favorites are, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Laputa: Castle in the Sky and Princess Mononoke, but you can't go wrong with My Neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso, Kiki's Delivery Service, etc. I would be careful, though, I've heard Ghibli can be prickly about reactions. Also, Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro is Miyzaki pre-Ghibli formation. As far as other anime is concerned, Cowboy Bebop is a great, single season anime, 26 episodes with a single movie. I would at least get to episode 5 before you decide on whether you want to continue or not. Neon Genesis Evangelion is another great single season series though it does have a bunch of movies. Samurai Champloo is great, too. There are others I enjoyed like Serial Experiments Lain, Witch Hunter Robin. Another self-contained-ish anime is Macross Plus. It does have a whole world built around before and after this series, but it's basically a story about 3 people. It's 4 OVA episodes (at ~45 min or so?) which I recommend over the movie which is a summary of the 4, but with a little bit of additional footage. The issue is that it cuts out certain scenes that, I think, add to the story and characters. If I had my druthers, though... to me, the mother of all robot anime, the original 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam (yes, there are other robot animes like Tetsujin 28, Mazinger Z before that, etc). I love, love, love that series. But, I think the animation style and quality will feel dated and I don't know how it would do for your guys' channel so... But, basically the entirety of the Universal Century Gundam (the timeline starting with 1979 MS Gundam and its prequels and sequels) are all pretty high quality (story wise), but that is a huge rabbit hole. Oh, finally, I'd also recommend Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still, a 7 episode (40-60 min each) series. I think the shorter, self-contained series are better b/c they won't force you to commit to a long series or cut one short b/c it's not getting great numbers.
Looking forward to whatever comes out in August! In regards to the Anime stuff, I've heard/seen comments that Studio Ghibli stuff can be a.... frustration, in terms of strikes and editing. You might want to reach out to others who've navigated reacting to Animes on what got the okay and what got flagged for them. That being said, sounds *awesome*!!!
Thanks for this. Good to see you again. The one thing I am curious about that most folks in your position of reporting don’t really address as it’s hard to predict. When the strike is over and these companies are paying out more money ( too bad for them, deal with it), what decisions will be impacted by the “reductions in profits” or investor profits? Will that decrease the amount of projects that will be green lit. Will studios and producers/backers be more cautious? The greed is on full display after months of no talks.
So nice to have content from you guys again! Hey, thanks for posting the pictures! It was awesome to have met you guys (Agustin, Hector) during Comic Con at Mike Hess' and have such great discussions! I agree so much on the VFX discussion, which we touched upon during the meet. I'm not big on Anime at all, but I was blown away by the storytelling and the music when I watched this film someone recommended to me years ago...it would be incredible (if you haven't watched it yet) if you homies watched "Spirited Away" from Studio Ghibli, which is near and dear to many Mexicans as well (known as "El Viaje de Shihiro"). Honest question, has Hector explained why his camera looks blurry compared to Adam and Agustin? His image quality used to be very crisp a couple of months ago. One final question: are you guys actually reacting to struck shows and recording it (for example the last two episodes of Secret Invasion) so that you can release them as soon as the strike is over? Or will you eventually react, albeit late, once the strike is over?
If I could make a quick suggestion! “My Hero Academia” is a perfect anime to react to; especially for this channel. As is “Batman: The Telltale Series” for gameplay videos! Regardless of what may come, I support you all and wish nothing but the best. 👏🏽
Really can't wait fo rwhatever comes next! Especially the video game content. Don't worry about being "good" it's not about that! Choose some games with a good narrative that interest you or that you've heard good things about. Love the channels and work you guys put in!!
If you guys are planning to watch some Anime series than I recommended Yu Yu Hakusho! It's only 4 seasons and has some great stories and awesome characters.
My recommendations for anime reactions would be to not do "A Silent Voice" (Koe no Katachi) first. It's a great film, and you should definitely react to it at some point, but very few other anime will be as good or evoke as much emotion from you. And for future series, I'd recommend Cowboy Bebop, but you've probably already seen that.
Oh man. The anime world is probably very interesting to you guys. I started off with comics about western super hero movies and then a friend of mine recommended me Death Note. I knew animes like Akira or Miyazaki movies, but there are some really insanely well made anime series.
I cried when The Homies said theyd be taking a break from shows and movies. Songkad they're back. Also glad we dont need to relive that last episode of Secret Invasion. Yikes! 😂
Good for you guys, you want a break, and you're using the strike as the reason for doing so. There is no reason you can't support the strikes and still provide reactions or criticism of shows unless you were part of the production.
That’s technically not correct. SAG and WGA are asking influencers to NOT react to struck work from struck studios. Most anime and independent films do not apply, which is where we’re pivoting to.
First episode of the czechxicans I think! If I remember correctly they talked about it in that ep. So season one of the czechxicans on the heroes reforged channel 🌻
Yeah doesn’t sound like the dream of working in the movie industry that everyone thinks about…..not Even close. But I for one would watch a cooking special everyone week and everyday lol
I do think it would be worth while thing to still do reviews of new movies from approved studios that are actually meeting Sag Aftras requirements. (I am unsure if WGA also approved them ) But studios doing the right things without the strike kinda should be rewarded and the silence around the big studios will be posisbly more damning. It was good to not that this isnt just about actors or writers but all labor who just isnt treated like humans aka living wage not pay check to pay check. I thought people got this some people maybe multi millioiare but they are fight billionaire and trillion dollar companys stealing wages from the actualy labors during the MLB strike as the majority of people this time had the players backs the major faces were in the 100s of millions of worth people got it. Hopefully with the kranstens of the world coming strong people will start to realize fighting against these unions because you think they are spoiled in the end if hurting yourself and your own labor value. The more times Unions win the more power unions have over this companys that only look at people as numbers never has humans.
I’ve seen at least three or two other channels that we’re not going to cover secret invasion because of the strike and they were going to support the strike but then after episode five aired, those same channels were reviewing episode five and I’ll some of them are reviewing episode six so why aren’t you guys?
I love this channel. We didn't a need an entire "how the strike effects our content" podcast. and i never expected it from these guys. no one cares. just do your thing and stop making other peoples fight for their lively hood about you and how it effects you. i expect better from you, but i wont in the future.
Guys I'm not entirely sure I even understand why? Why stop when you're doing when there's not even a mandate for some sort of boycott? I understand the whole wanting to stand in solidarity with them blah blah blah but you're not the ones on strike It doesn't make sense to me in my mind that you would stop watching any content whatsoever because of what's happening when again there's no mandate for a boycott not supporting something is neither here nor there for any of the actors or the studios but you're doing it why? This isn't some virtue signal shit is it? I mean you're going to do you no matter what anyone says and that I respect but I just don't get it and it doesn't make sense for you to stop doing what you do just because of what they're going through
Oh dear god, not VIRTUE SIGNALING! Did you try listening to any of the words they said in this video? They spend almost the entire thing explaining why.
I can’t begin to imagine completely, and willingly, refusing to comprehend everything that was *JUST* said to you. There’s even multiple chapters on this video for you to go over pertaining to sub-topics about the subject at hand. All I’m hearing from you is that _you’re_ upset that _you’re_ not getting _your_ regularly scheduled RUclips content. Too fucking bad. Read the room, homie. This ain’t it. 🙄

I'm with you, except the blah blah blah part, I believe they are sincere about their support of the strikes. They want to expand their channel to Anime and there isn't much new now anyway. Again, I believe that their support of the strike is real and that they really care however there is no reason whatsoever that they can't provide criticism or reaction to IP that is out now.
I was not expecting a church service from this episode, but yall preached one hell of a sermon. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I'm one of those folks that love this show just because I love listening to you 3 dudes. Doesn't matter to me if you're talking about a movie or talking about your crazy car ride to a party 10+ years ago. I'm here for it all 🎉
We're here to support you guys supporting the strike. However I am 100% here for weekly cooking shows. 😂
Full solidarity with all workers! Love the idea of bringing on actors and writers to talk to.

As a British person. It's crazy you are not entitled to getting healthcare.
Love u guys! Gracias por el esfuerzo! ✨
Doesn’t matter what you put out, I’ll be watching!! Even if I don’t like the show/movie.
You can do a lot of independent movies, foreign language films and anime or foreign animated films or shows
I would love to see you guys do shelve tours for vid content
Love you guys. I'll turn up to whatever content you make🫂

Support you guys 💯 🙂
❤❤❤love
This heroes anime arc is about be great. I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with anime but it's a beautiful medium
Yikes! 😂
Perfect time to get into One Piece!
Are you guys going to react to shows like Ashoka after the strike ends?
Hope yiu continue to sprinkle in the Anime and Animation stuff.
I thought you all stopped doing reactions. You haven't done any in a long time.
@@HeroesReforged Thanks for the clarification. This must have changed at some point or I got some bad information. Cheers! Keep up the good work.
Does this mean you guys will finish the 97' X-Men animated series😊❤
Can someone point me to their video talking about theie VFX experience. I'm interested
First episode of the czechxicans I think! If I remember correctly they talked about it in that ep. So season one of the czechxicans on the heroes reforged channel 🌻
❤❤❤
Yeah doesn’t sound like the dream of working in the movie industry that everyone thinks about…..not Even close. But I for one would watch a cooking special everyone week and everyday lol
You guys rule.
You will get strikes on anything, anime.
Anime recommendation: Stein's Gate
I’ve seen at least three or two other channels that we’re not going to cover secret invasion because of the strike and they were going to support the strike but then after episode five aired, those same channels were reviewing episode five and I’ll some of them are reviewing episode six so why aren’t you guys?
We’ve mentioned all the reasons in the podcast and in the video on the Heroes Reforged channel.
Pivvottt
When are y'all going to post about the marvels trailer and secret invasion episode 5 and 6?
When the strike is over.
I love this channel. We didn't a need an entire "how the strike effects our content" podcast. and i never expected it from these guys. no one cares. just do your thing and stop making other peoples fight for their lively hood about you and how it effects you. i expect better from you, but i wont in the future.
You're in the wrong place if you think this is advice we're going to take.
@@El_SantoTaco😂😂😂 TELL HIS ASS!
I can’t imagine being this goddamn obtuse. Classic dipshit fanboy behavior. Yikes.
I mean you're going to do you no matter what anyone says and that I respect but I just don't get it and it doesn't make sense for you to stop doing what you do just because of what they're going through
If you dont understand after watching this episode then we can't help you.

Support the strike i dont support you bye.
Good we don't want you, thanks bye.
Bye!
