I spotted some tools a few years ago at the curb and I grabbed them. Turns out the person that owned the house passed away and was a machinist for Proctor and Gamble at one time (talking to the neighbors who knew the family). It also turns out that his brother was a teacher at my high school (I didn't have him), but he was a customer of my grandfather's at the barber shop (my grandfather was a local barber for over 75 years, he lived to be 101.5 and passed in 2012).
There were some nice tools in a tote box and I also wound up with a snowblower and a mower from the house, as well as a garden sprayer. All good quality stuff, USA made Craftsman and others. Apparently, the family just wanted to clear out the house before selling it.
