- Hello Y'all -At the beginning of the video I show you the big box of cups Dam brought home and then I use Mix2Mold in an Owl Mold and also a clam shell box - I use stone to cover part of the mold up - Does it work? Not exactly the way I was expecting lol , but love both pieces 😍

Hi Beth, so sorry I haven’t been on here as much but you know how things are here. I love the owl and I’m with you on not wanting the skeleton face. An option you could try to not have the skeleton face you could make a ridge around the face shape with hot clue so it doesn’t get filled at all then add what you want to the center after it cures. I really like how the beads came out and the shell trinket piece I think 3 of the star fish in a cluster on it would look nice on it. Keeping Debbie in my prayers. 🙏💝

Thank you for answering what pigment powder you used and how you use it! (I relooked at the previous video a few times so I got a moment glimpse of the bottle and ordered some, thank you for sharing a product that works with the mix2mold). Tip for you: with scrap raw/uncured clay you can fill in the part you don't want like the skull and the mix2mold will pull away from it , you may have to do some clean up but you don't have to chisel and just save the scrap clay for another time.

Hey Beth, next time maybe use clay or hot glue something different to wall it off. The Mix2Mold is so thin like water. It just went right through the rocks. You were making me so nervous using those sharp tools. Please think about using your new rotary tool. I was so scared your hand was going to slip. I wouldn’t want to hear that you got hurt doing something like that. Keeping thoughts & prayers for Debbie to continue to heal. I’m so glad that you & Dan are able to help her out. The Mix2Mold was on sale at Michaels 40% off. I checked amazon and nothing, well no regular and only 3 colors. I am so sad that I cannot get the 4 colors at Michaels any more...

I am not sure if you can use anything to stop it from not showing up as a skull. How about maybe you pour just mix to mold and use the electric sander tool to sand down. Then add your rocks. Then maybe use resin to add the rocks on top. Just an idea.
