Brilliant. I bought the seven inch single of this back in 1990. This is the "vision mix", which was the b-side - this version had the Italo-house piano running thru the chorus.
Gosh, it was almost a decade ago when I ran into this music video, and looking at it now, it just has me in hysterics. I mean, Parker as a DJ and the way he moves around - there is no way you can not make that funny. The big fan of Thunderbirds that I am, it's fun having something like this as it sort of acts as a nostalgic montage of clips from many of the episodes of the series (as well as Stingray and Captain Scarlet), and a way to let the fans have a good time - brilliant way to give them such a treat. As a supplement, I don't know if these could be considered "lyrics" per se, but this is what you hear characters saying in the video: Stand by for action! Calling International Rescue! Calling International Rescue! You've gotta help us! We're trapped! Five ... four ... three ... two ... one! Thunderbirds are go! Okay, Brains, here we go ... Uh-uh-uh-ee-ee-ee ... not so loud ... Uh-uh-uh-ee-ee-ee ... not so loud ... Uh-uh-uh-ee-ee-ee ... not so loud ... Uh-uh ... uh-uh ... uh-uh ... Uh-uh-uh-ee-ee-ee ... not so loud ... Uh-uh-uh-ee-ee-ee ... not so loud ... Watch your eardrums ... she's about to lift off. We like it, don't we, Parker? Yes, m'lady. FAB. Sometimes, Parker's instant talent comes and varies. Hard core, Scott! Brains, call the boys. This is a job for International Rescue. International Rescue. I-I-I-I-International Rescue. FAB. We are about to launch ... Stingray! Stingray, Stingray! (*STINGRAY!*) Stingray, Stingray! *THIS IS THE VOICE OF THE MYSTERONS. WE KNOW THAT YOU CAN HEAR US, EARTH MEN.* Are you going to tie me up? You bet I am. Oh, I don't mind, really. Not so loud, m'lady ... F! A! B! FAB. Anything can happen in the next half hour. A-A-Anything can happen. Anything can happen. ... Control to Thunderbird 3 ... Spectrum is green. Blast off. Uh-uh-uh-ee-ee-ee ... not so loud ... Uh-uh-uh-ee-ee-ee ... not so loud ... Why, it came out through the centre of the house! Keep the frequency clear. FAB. Oh, Parker ... Yes, m'lady? Well done. Cheers!
Thanks for the “lyrics”. There’s one small error though. Lady P says “sometimes Parker’s little talent comes in very useful”’ - it’s a quote from Introducing Thunderbirds century 21. Lady P saying “why it came up through the centre of the house” is from the same piece. I’m a huge Thunderbirds fan.
Brilliant and using the soundtrack from the old records too......the ones I still have, neeyahahah!. Sorry, I sound like The Hood. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Due to budget cuts, they've been forced to outsource some of their activities. Lieutenant Green is actually working for Capita on a zero hours contract.
Funnily enough, there's probably going to be a lot that my family's cats can do to help save the day. By purring with any music they hear for example, it's pretty much easy to do rhythmic damage to the enemy.
Very Funny! I had a good laugh. I'm sending this to my brother in San Diego, we're a couple of old school fanboys in our late fifties. A couple of knuckleheads you might say, but harmless. Actually my bro is a bigger geek than I am, I'm just two steps behind him though.
The "Parker... well done" bit near the end is from a song called... well, just that. Featured Sylvia Anderson and David Graham in-character as Lady P and Parker.
Funny thing. There was one time where Super Scooby, Princess Icesis and I were trapped deep underground in some kind of cave somewhere near a volcano. Super Scooby batted a paw to the rocks to feel how hot they were and the heat didn't burn his paw. Two hours later, we heard the sound of The Mole drilling through the rocks. "Mreow!" Said Super Scooby. "International Rescue! I see you followed the sound of my cat's purring." I said. "Meow-meow-meow!" Said Super Scooby. "Mreow!" Agreed Princess Icesis. That's how the rescue happened.
On the cd, it's the "pressure mix" and its nowhere near as good as this version, this "vision mix" is what they should have put on the album....miles catchier....
Major 90s flashback 😄 I forgot this existed until now!

Just seen this on top of the pops 1990, what a blast from the past! Not listed on Apple Music so grateful this is on RUclips 👍

🏗️☣️🤫
I randomly came across this years ago and just now wanted to look it up, still hilarious lol.
I was only watching Top Of The Pops from 1990 recently & saw this track came up & remember it well as a kid aged 7/8 back when it came out then.
Parker in DJ kit ? Now THAT I never thought I would live to see.
It is amazing❤🇯🇵
12 years ago and i still love this song
I have been looking for this since the 90's.
Thanks.
Man I had the CD od this when I was little :D so many memories
brilliant ! now I know Parker is for real. (some of us will never grow old)
They don't make great records like this any more.
i listened to this on cassette this week , quite catchy. good old day.
Ashens brought me here too.
Colin Irwin, Same
I owned the 12" vinel when it first came out, I thought it was fantastic then, now I'm 34 and am showing this to my kids, they love it too.
Didn't get this line as a child... years later the thought of tying up Lady Penelope has all other sorts of connotations!
Yes he does in a actual episode of Thunderbirds, I seem to recall !
Hello to all Ashens viewers!
Mhairi Gibbons Hello fellow viewer
Hello!
Parker, well done
Brilliant and using the soundtrack from the old records too......the ones I still have, neeyahahah!. Sorry, I sound like The Hood. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.
My 1987 Diamond White 2.0 Ltr Ford Capri Lazer brought me here!!!

MC Parker in da house!
Me and my sister had this on vinyl off the back of a box of Frosties!
I can remember this video on the `The Chart Show` in 1991
"Are you going to tie me up?"
"You bet I am!"
"Oh I don't mind, really"
Loved it, love it, classic 👍

Best remix ever.
This song is just like 1980s song despite that tv series in 1960s
In memory of Gerry Anderson!!! R.I.P
That hook reminds me of Mike from Spaced 😂😂
Do more of these remixes!
Wow, the situation must be pretty damn dire when Spectrum has to call on IR! XD
Due to budget cuts, they've been forced to outsource some of their activities. Lieutenant Green is actually working for Capita on a zero hours contract.
My P.E teacher used to play this while we ran outside.
"Are you going to tie me up?! "Yes I am"!!! "Oh i dont mind really" Roflmfao!!
Funnily enough, there's probably going to be a lot that my family's cats can do to help save the day. By purring with any music they hear for example, it's pretty much easy to do rhythmic damage to the enemy.

We like it. Don't we Parker?
Yeah it's from episode 2 "Pit of Peril". When they drill through the pit with the mole brains explains to him that the rock is "hard core".
Dubstepbirds are go!
Very Funny! I had a good laugh. I'm sending this to my brother in San Diego, we're a couple of old school fanboys in our late fifties. A couple of knuckleheads you might say, but harmless. Actually my bro is a bigger geek than I am, I'm just two steps behind him though.

Jim Wants Aliens why just dont watch all episodes again? :)

+Jim Wants Aliens "Hard Core Scott" is from Thunderbirds episode 2 Pit of Peril
