- Out and about today and a visit to friend farmer Chris who had not run his Jeep for a few weeks as busy with Lambing, so today was good to jump in his Jeep for a short run over the hill for a catch up...

I just Google earthed the location of the abbey which comes up as Duns. So I looked at Duns on Google Earth. There's a photo of a bear holding a bomb!? What a story that is! The bear was enlisted as a soldier into a Polish unit and moved around the middle east and ended up in Edinburgh zoo. Worth a read unless you already know the story.

@@Coastriderscotland I'll look it up. Cheers for the link. Something I found which you might already know is that the Polish base is in a town twinned with Duns. In or near Zagan is Stalag Luft 3. The prison that the film escape to victory was based on. I have chores to do before I watch the Woytek video so speak soon.
