I wish I had seen your video before I made mine. I just needed a smaller one. I bought a cheap 8 x 10 frame, bought some patterened shelf liner, and cut it to the size of the glass, then peeled it off and slowly stuck it to the paper insert, and put it back together. I'm thinking scrap book paper or a piece of fabric measured to the size of the glass will work too! I LOVE my board! I just need to find a better way to hang it. I tried command strips but it was a fail,
I'm really bad at diy but I really like the production of the videos, the eagle kept making me laugh. I also liked that little blurb about the pattern matching your video background. Thanks!
I had that problem with the green marker as well breaking up like that when I got it. I found that the more you use it the less it breaks up like that.Almost like it gets oily from the other makers it sticks alot better on a dirty board lol
+Brooke Leystra Yep, that's why I ended up building a full memo station that included this board, an old pizza pan magnetic square, and an old thrift store cork board. The link to that video should be in the description of this one.
To hang your Dry Erase Board better, get large "Binder Clips" and attach them to the top, for larger boards you might use two or more according to the weight and size, of your board. It does wiggle when you write on it, so hold it as you write, I have 3 DRB each has weak frames that has come apart, espically in the bathroom, yes a weird place for one I know but its easy for young ones to reach and is great for potty training, comes off nail and onto lap quickly for potty training drawings, now I can write shopping items for the bathroom, or messages for honey do list so visitors don't see it. It also gets the due date for bills and is a private reminder, so I can show off my bedroom without showing off my lists.
Had you ever thought about using like a large pane of glass from Home Depot? I think it would make a neat clear dry erase board which is what I'm looking for I'm just worried I could buy the wrong kind of glass.
You could definitely do that. I've seen some people just mount a big sheet of glass straight to their white painted wall using mirror clips around the perimeter. Instant "white" board!
I never thought about painting the glass, that’s so smart! Thank you

The bird sound effect! Hahaha!

Thanks! I've been trying to make my newer videos nicer, but I'll admit that video editing/production is definitely not my strong point.

Great idea. The only thing missing is the magnet aspect. I like to hang things on my white board. I wonder if there is a way to do that?

I used this idea to make a custom calendar I made a calendar on a document the size of the frame and printed it at UPS for $1.50
Good idea! Thanks guy!
Thanks! It works great and I think it even cleans up easier than a regular white board.

Thank you for the video!
+catecurry You're welcome.
Ay.what.up
Would it have killed you to include erasing in the video?
Oops, forgot to do that when making the video. It erases off the glass really easily though!
MrDiyDork you did include it lol smh some people I’ll tell ya...
