Those who try face an array of obstacles and growing reflexive Sinophobia that does not distinguish between Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singaporean, or Mainland Chinese. It is easy for Hong Kongers to move to or visit the PRC. That is not the case for Europe, Australia, or NA, and even moving to SE Asia is more fraught. So please cite data for your claims. Many more Hong Kongers are moving to the PRC to escape skyrocketing costs for essentials and housing, just as increasing numbers of retired Singaporeans are moving to other SE Asian nations to conserve their life savings.
