- I have wanted to fly this spot for about 4 years. Freezing cold fingers didn't stop me from finally living my dream. Flying the Aireys Inlet - Split Point Lighthouse and Eagle rock at dawn was a mega fun and beautiful experience. After a quick session I warmed up by enjoying a fantastic latte in the sun at Willows Tea House, which is about a 30 metre walk from the lighthouse. Was a really enjoyable morning.

SILKY smooth as ever juZ , sometimes forget its a quad and not a plane flying, scenery to die for and quality music on top. when i get notification u have posted a vid i have to wait till i can get to my PC, fullscreen with headphones on is the only way to watch. time to play that second time now :D

I do. I havn't had a failure in over a year or two. Touch wood. There's always a risk though, and thats part of the fun.

Lovely stuff once again mate! To keep my hands warm I bought a cheap pair of gloves and cut off just the tips of the thumb, index and middle fingers. My hands and other fingers stay warm and I still have good feel on the sticks.

Hey buddy, would you share some of your gain settings for QAV400 ? And are you still flying it or QAV-R is the only thing you fly now?

Epic video! I watched it many times :) How do you fix the gopro to the frame? Do you use the standard lumenier gopro mount?
Wow, thanks man. My GoPro is held down by a rap strap around the middle and a velcro strap around the outside. I use a piece of foam, cut into a wedge under the GoPro to position it at the angle I want. Pretty simple and cheap. Oh, and I always use a LayerLens for protection.
