Can you pull on the A/C belt and see how firm it is dose sound like it's slipping or the noise might be coming from the idler pulley not the copressor pump pulley you dont wont to take any pipes off and lose your A/C gas from the system. Try spinning that idler pulley when you take the belt off.
So I may or may not have dug into it a bit more & well now I need a new belt & the refill my system to see if that’s what’s going on. I believe yall are right & I just jumped the gun on needing the clutch fixed
im seeing this comment so late, sometimes recordign videos almost a week in advance causes me to do silly stuff like draining the whole system, cutting the belt & taking off the compressor... i didnt think it was the belt cause it engaged but now it makes so much sense. im going to look through my maintenance logs & see if the refrigerant ever got switched to r1234a so i have have it refilled & hopefully after that, new belt, then making sure it wasnt just the belt the whole time
@@MadiJamesZ32yeah it’s possible it’s just a bad belt, or whatever is supposed to be giving it tension (some cars are different, so I don’t know if yours can be adjusted by a bolt or if there is just a tensioner that could be old) isn’t working. That said, compressors can also seize so it’s not like that isn’t a real possibility. I’m not sure if there’s a decent way of checking for a seizing ac compressor while it’s off, but I’m sure there’s some good videos. Possibly signs of metal shavings or something like that. But if the belt is old that is a good starting point typically.
Another awesome video
Almost 500 subs now 😅 The algorithm done me a solid by putting me onto your videos after binge watching Prizza Mikes Z build.. 👌

No it's a loose belt.. 101% your a.c clutch is not broken why its sping slow is Bec your belt is slipping . I had that happen to me .
I hope you dont remove the a.c compressor. Pls change the belt first before you jump to conclusions.

Use Coca Cola on battery terminals to avoid corrosion
This isn’t the first time I’ve heard that, I’m concerned at how someone found out that works 😭
