I am in 7B also and have purchased a pink variegated lemon and a Texas Republic sweet orange tree last summer from Madison citrus nursery. I keep them in the garage under fluorescent lights whenever the sun isnt shining enough outside.
Thanks for sharing your overwintering tips! I have never heard of a Texas Republic sweet orange before! Has it fruited for you yet? thank you for watching and commenting!
No, maybe this spring, they are both grafted on flying dragon rootstock that makes them grow slower. Also have much smaller Marrs sweet orange and improve meyer lemon that I have to keep indoors underlights. Those I purchased online from US citrus nursery in Hargill texas. Both lemon trees seem to outpace the orange trees in growth. @@keshatigachu
