If people will see Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel's recent video 2 days ago, entitled "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants," they will hear their announcement that Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon will be receiving special prostheses or braces to help them, and that in order to get these custom-makes going by the skilled Bionic Pets (that made Mae Mai's brace, Khun Dej's boot, and Mr. Cow's prostheses), they can go to the linked (in the video description) donation page to help with the cost of these 3 life-changing/life-saving helps for Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon. It's an informative video and great donation page that also tells their 3 stories, so I thought that the people here would love to hear this fabulous news!!😃💜
My tears for their past hardship, loneliness and suffering. My joy for their freedom, friendship and TLC in the most wonderful staff in the ENP. Bless them, may they free of pain for the rest of their life
Shockingly, the most infirmed of them are not seniors. Medo is only 42 this year, just as Kabu and Mae Mai are only 32. They have so much life ahead of them, and the coming braces just announced by Gentle Giants 2 days ago will help them so much. Mae Mai has already received hers, and it's helping her so very much, and now Medo's will be made, and Kabu's too. Please see GG's new video (4-24-22) "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" to hear all about it, and see the link in their video description to find that donation page to quickly get this project up and going.

Muy interesante video y unas tristes historias. I am a blind human and I’m particularly interested in Suppji and how she manages day today. How can she get in the pool on her own. How does she walk alone, I presume with the mahout or with Meadow. Any information you can give I would be most interested to hear. In fact, I know you have many blind elephants and a lesson on how they cope would be really interesting. Many thanks for all you do Lek and Noel. Sorry for all the mistakes. Love from Doreen in the UK
Greetings, Doreen. I don't work with ENP in any way, so I can't answer with their knowledge, but I know that the blind elephants follow the sounds and scents of their see-eye friend, following their footsteps almost exactly, and that their mahout also helps them. They do tend to use their trunk similarly to a white cane, to check the ground. Once they learn the layout of how to get into the pool or river, they are good to go, and they stay very close to their seeing-eye friend for safe support and guidance. They really do use their vast sense of smell and excellent hearing to compensate for their eyes. It might please you to learn that her friend Medo (in this video) will be receiving a brace for her leg to help her. You can learn more at the channel called Gentle Giants Non-Profit for their recent video called "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" and hear all about it. 😊 Update: Checking their website this afternoon, I learned that Sook Jai is almost deaf, so she heavily relies on her sense of smell.
Thank you so much for repeating their story!! It is so beautiful!! You are so wonderful to see and do what the elephant's want if your able to figure it out!!! How old is Medo and SookJai?

Lek repeated the story here; this video was first on FB Live, so a Live-listener informed them of the audio trouble, so Lek repeated it all in this video. The info is good and the friendship bond between the two elephants is very sweet, well worth hearing, a profound love. When you listen to the retelling here, and learn about her leg, go see Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel's new video (4-24-22) entitled "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" to learn of the coming braces for Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon, and see the link in that video description to the donation page that will get this project running quickly, the same maker (Bionic Pets) that made Mae Mai's new leg brace that is helping her so much. It's great news!
It first published Live on FB, so a listener informed them of the audio problems at that time, so Lek repeated the whole story later in the video, if you'll play it again. It's quite a heartwarming story.
Lek told the story all again, so if you'll pick the video back up again where you left off, you can hear it all. It's informative and very sweet, well worth the listen.
I don't need to hear the story it's awful, I'm happy to help, I can & I will. How are the 3 you brought at the same time? I can't find anything after you got there? Please & huge Thank you to all.. Regards from Canada 🐘🐕
Be aware that EleFlix is but one of their 3 channels that shows the ENP elephants: Elephant Nature Park channel, ElephantNews channel, and EleFlix channel. By watching all of them, you can be much better informed.
@@cacatr4495 I was not aware of those other channels Thank you..I have several channels I keep up with Kevin Richardson Foundation, Sheldrick Wildlife for elephants & Hoedspruit , I highly suggest checking them out. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦😉
So sad medo suffered so much with both broken legs, she looks so painful, how can people so cruel to force her work when she only had 1 broken leg , then another leg became broken with heavy work, so shame on humans, no humanity at all.
Lek repeated all of it later in the video if you'll pick it back up where you left off. All their videos first publish on FB, some of them live-streaming like this one, so one of their listeners told them real-time that there was audio trouble, so Lek repeated it all in this same video.
You will be pleased to learn that the specialist-engineer of Bionic Pets has met at length with Dr. Tom the Vet of ENP to determine a way to help Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon with braces or helps that will give support, relieve pain, aid in walking and slow degeneration of the damaged legs under their tonnage of weight, in short, change their lives and improve their well-being, thus lengthening their lives and giving them relief beyond the pain-meds. See Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel's new video from two days ago (4-24-22) entitled "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" to hear all about it, and see their donation page linked in the video description, a page that also tells their 3 stories. This is fabulous, exciting news!
Could someone explain the names of two elephants, are they with the same name, or is there a difference? The mom of Wan Mai and the cow who has a fracture in her hind leg, both seem to be called as Mae Mai also sometimes Mai Mai. I was looking for a donation to the one with fractured leg in the GentleGiants, but only Wan Mai's mom was here, not the leg injured.
At ENP, there are two female elephants by the name Mae Mai: Baby Wan Mai's mother, and a 32 year old who moves like a very old elephant with the dislocated hind leg, who recently received a very helpful brace that has been supporting her and her ability to walk very well, that gives her some relief, not only from pain but from fear of anyone getting near her knee that could hurt her, so confidence and mobility have been some gains for her. Mae means Mother, and Mai means something like Queen. That Mae Mai wouldn't be in GG's website but in Save Elephant Foundation website or Elephant Nature Park's website. I've heard Lek say that if a person wants to donate to SEF here in the US, without having to do it through their websites (which are international), that they can send it through Gentle Giants, who will forward it on to them. Gentle Giants is not part of ENP or SEF, but an org that partners with them for the sake of the elephants, so I'd suggest that you email them (GG) to ask them how to make a donation for Mae Mai, the one with the dislocated hind leg, the one that is now wearing the Bionic Pets brace. I'm sure they will be happy to help you in that.
The video first published Live on FB, so a Live-listener informed them at that time (of the audio trouble), so Lek repeated the whole story, if you'll listen again. It's very sweet, well worth the listen. These elephants have real friendship, real Love.
Lek did retell the story when a Live-listener on FB informed them of the audio trouble, so if you'll listen beyond where you stopped the video, you'll be able to hear the very sweet story of the loving and bonded friendship of these 2 elephants; it's a very excellent story well worth the listen.
I've recently joined to this channel, and in many videos I see the white dog with Lek and the French girl (whose name I don't yet know). Which one the dog follows?
Lek retold the story in this video after a Live-listener on their FB page informed them real-time that there were audio troubles, so if you'll replay this video past where you stopped it before, you'll be able to hear the very informative details of their histories and of their profoundly bonded friendship of Love that is well worth hearing, very sweet. Then see Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel's recent video (4-24-22) entitled "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" where they announce braces or helps for Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon, and see the linked donation page from their video description to get the project up and running quickly. That video is Very informative, so I highly recommend it, and this one here too.💜
Lek repeated it all later in the video when they realized there had been audio trouble, so pick it back up where you left off to hear the fully story; it's very special.
So sorry Lek, but from 02:53 to 05:07, the story of the girls, the sound was broken up on your microphone. It was the most important part to hear, and I couldn't.😔
Lek repeated it all later in the video, when a Live-listener to their FB streaming told them real-time that there was audio trouble. If you'll pick the video back up where you left off, you can hear the full history and friendship story, which is very special.
🇦🇺🦘🐨🐘💓 Sound was still very bad at times! Im not suggesting Medo be put to sleep & know you say she is happy, but how can you be absolutely sure she is not in constant pain.!? ls there any painkiller she can be on 24/7 to ensure she is not suffering? Its so heartbreaking to see that poor leg - & to know it was caused by human cruelty is UNbearable‼️😭🤯 Do you ever answer questions we ask? I asked about precious baby Pee Mai & her genitals looking like she has a penis, but no answer.?? Many were wondering,so it would be interesting to learn the answer please. 🤝🙏🏻🙌🏼👏🏽Your dedication is heralded by we whom love & cherish our animals that are part of our families - & ALL others on this earth..
I noticed that it looked like Pee Mai had a penis and decide maybe they call all babies girl's but then at other time's it looks a bit more like a female! Sure wonder if it is just the way it look's and is normal?!!
ENP/SEF has 3 YT channels (ElephantNews, EleFlix, Elephant Nature Park) that feature the ENP elephants, and their channel where they answer questions is primarily Elephant Nature Park channel, so I wouldn't expect answers here, as I don't think that comments at this channel are monitored. I have been a viewer and student here for over 7 years, so I will try to answer as best I can. 1. Lek retold their histories in this video and the story of their sweet relationship later on in this video as the video was first a Live-streamed video on their FB page, where one of their Live-listeners told them real-time that their audio was not working, so Lek retold all of it. So you can listen to it and get answers to your questions by doing so. 2. I understand that infirmed elephants there that are believed to be in pain are given pain-meds. This week an announcement was made by Lek's partner Gentle Giants that they have facilitated (and are raising funds for) Bionic Pets making a brace for Medo that will give her much needed support, so that is good news. You can learn more by going to that video at their Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel to watch "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" as it's very informative. 3. As I began learning about elephants, I wondered the same about these female elephants. Understand that their anatomy, the entrance to their female privates hangs down as a covering of flesh. It is not a penis, it is their covering. I'm sure it keeps the mud and dirt out, and whatever else. They *are females. I hope this helps.
Lek told it all again in this video so pick back up where you left off to hear the retelling. It had been live-streamed on FB, and a listener told them there was audio trouble, so they retold it all.
Lek did retell the story in the latter part of the video; please listen beyond where you gave up, as their histories and the story of their friendship is well worth hearing, very sweet! 💙 You may also be pleased to learn that Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel has announced that Bionic Pets is going to make a brace for Medo that will support her, so see their recent video entitled "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" to hear all about it. 💜
While this list certainly isn't complete, Medo was captured from the Wild as a babe, so was Sri Nuan, and both of Faa Mai's parents, and her adopted big sister Faa Sai, and Meeboon, Bai Toey's nanny, Di Por, Noi Nah, Mae Koy, and the newly rescued elephant Chu Jai, who was wild-born in Indonesia which is why she is smaller. Some of you know what that means these babes witnessed at their capture. Some might have been captured by small animal snares like Khun Dej, also wild-born, but the typical method was far worse. ~ Good News! ENP/SEF's partner, Gentle Giants Non-Profit, two days ago announced that Medo and Kabu both will be getting braces to support them, as Mae Mai has now. This is great news! See their video "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants." Elephant database, elephant . se (remove spaces) sometimes shows info.
I was stoned by Tahiti residents for feeding a starving dog for interference with their Buddhist beliefs. Village believed dog was destined for death and tolerate no interference
Your talk is stop, start, we can't hear the story of these elephants. Start your talk again Lek, plz; as we can't hear what you are saying about these eles.
Lek did repeat all of it; the videos first go to FB and a listener Live informed them, so Lek repeated it. If you had let the video play on, that would have come to your attention, it's quite a heartwarming story. 😊 So you know, Gentle Giants Non-Profit has announced that braces will be made for Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon; see their recent video (4-24-22) "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" to hear all about it. They are getting it going quickly, so the linked donation page is in the video description.😊
Good news! Gentle Giants Non-Profit announced in ther recent video 2 days ago, that Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon will be getting specially-made braces or helps to assist them, and the title of that video at their channel is "Exciting News of 3 ENP Elephants" and you can hear all about it there. In the video-description is the link to the donation page to quickly get these custom-works going from Bionic Pets (the same skilled person that engineered and created Mae Mai's recent brace, Khun Dej's custom boot and Mr. Cow's prostheses). The abuse they've suffered is very sad, but these custom-helps can help relieve pain, make it easier to walk, improve their lives and slow the degeneration process of their tonnage on their damaged legs, through the support they will bring. The more people that learn of these projects and support them, the faster they can come to fruition. Medo, in this video, is only 42 this year, while Mae Mai (the one who just received her brace weeks ago, who can now walk so much better) is only 32, as is Kabu. These helps will bring new life to these gentle giants, so please take a look at GG's recent video on them.😄💜🐘
Can she be given pain meds and anti inflammatories bc that is the cruelest treatment I have seen On another note I truly wish you could do something about those hooks. I still see mahouts using them and it's sickening
I understand that animals at ENP that are in pain are given pain-meds, and the good news is that Bionic Pets will soon be making a brace for Medo that will support her. You can learn more at Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel's new video (4-24-22) "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants." 😃
@@cacatr4495 thankyou. That is a cause worth supporting. It's man expensive road for humans so it must be almost catastrophically costly. I create artistic goods that the proceeds are donated to different causes. With the state of the world with war and US cynicism it's harder to get donations for the elephants because people want to focus on humanitarian causes followed by local ASPCA issues. It's so hard to convince folks that all causes are important and theirs are not being ignored. But the ele's are. These gentle giants are so important.
Exciting News! See Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel's recent video from two days ago that announced braces or helps for Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon, from Bionic Pets, the same maker of Mae Mai's new brace that is helping her so much! This is very good!
If you want more people to watch your videos, maybe consider not having one video with 3 languages. And don't post videos with sound issues. It makes people not want to watch more.
The video first posted Live to FB, so a Live-listener informed them real-time of the sound trouble, so Lek repeated the whole story, if you'd like to listen beyond where you gave up. It's a very sweet story Lek shared, as these two elephants have real love between them, a very bonded, caring friendship, well worth the listen.

Sound cutting out. So interested in their stories but missing a lot of it
Lek repeated the story here; this video was first on FB Live, so a Live-listener informed them of the audio trouble, so Lek repeated it all in this video.
My goodness. I love listening to the elephant's stories, however, this video has serious audio issues. 😕
God bless these beautiful girls. 🥰
It first published Live on FB, so a listener informed them of the audio problems at that time, so Lek repeated the whole story later in the video, if you'll play it again. It's quite a heartwarming story.
Awww! Couldn’t hear the story. When you turned your head it cut the mic off. You chopped through the story 🥲
Lek told the story all again, so if you'll pick the video back up again where you left off, you can hear it all. It's informative and very sweet, well worth the listen.
Love Medo
Nice video ❤️
Beautiful

ได้ฟังแล้ว เจ้าของเก่าควรจะถูกลงโทษอย่างหนัก
น่าสงสารมากเลยค่ะ
I missed the whole story of Medo and Sook Jai. The sound is messed up.
Lek repeated the story; one has to let the video play on to where it's repeated. :)
So sad medo suffered so much with both broken legs, she looks so painful, how can people so cruel to force her work when she only had 1 broken leg , then another leg became broken with heavy work, so shame on humans, no humanity at all.
Pity I could not hear the story in English from Lek. The mic is a bit dodgy? From what I could catch it sounds like a beautiful story of friendship.
Lek repeated all of it later in the video if you'll pick it back up where you left off. All their videos first publish on FB, some of them live-streaming like this one, so one of their listeners told them real-time that there was audio trouble, so Lek repeated it all in this same video.
its amazing what you do
Is there any type pain medication you guys give to her or can give to her for her leg? It looks painful.
Lek, this has been happening a lot! Your breaking up and it’s hard to hear you!
The video first published Live on FB, so a Live-listener informed them at that time (of the audio trouble), so Lek repeated the whole story, if you'll listen again. It's very sweet, well worth the listen. These elephants have real friendship, real Love.
need a new microphone
Lek told the story again, so if you listen to the later part of the video, you can hear it all.
Maybe someone from your team can put a brief summary in the description box of this video?
Lek did retell the story when a Live-listener on FB informed them of the audio trouble, so if you'll listen beyond where you stopped the video, you'll be able to hear the very sweet story of the loving and bonded friendship of these 2 elephants; it's a very excellent story well worth the listen.
I've recently joined to this channel, and in many videos I see the white dog with Lek and the French girl (whose name I don't yet know). Which one the dog follows?
Canadian girl, the dog must be Lek dog ?
The Canadian French-speaker/interpreter was a visitor named Noelle. The white dog is Lek's dog, yes.
❤❤❤
หมดหนี้กรรมนะคุณแม่ทั้งสอง ตอนนี้ก็
เป็นคนแก่อยู่บ้าน
love
Can i read the story in english? I'd like to know their story
That video is Very informative, so I highly recommend it, and this one here too.💜
How much pain is that poor girl in??
Comment peut-on faire souffrir jusqu'à handicapé un animal quel qu’il soit....😢
😍😍😍😍😍
🙏❤️❤️
I didn't catch it all.. You kept breaking up.. 😔
If you'll pick the video back up where you left off, you can hear the retelling, as Lek told it all again.
Sound messed up🥺
Lek repeated it all later in the video when they realized there had been audio trouble, so pick it back up where you left off to hear the fully story; it's very special.
🐘🐘🐘💔😥❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
ใครที่ทำร้ายช้างขอให้เวรกรรมตามทันเจ็ดชั่วโครต,ขอให้ไม่มีความสุขตลอดชาติเลย.
What happened to her leg
🇦🇺🦘🐨🐘💓
Sound was still very bad at times!
Im not suggesting Medo be put to sleep &
know you say she is happy,
but how can you be absolutely sure
she is not in constant pain.!?
ls there any painkiller she can be on 24/7
to ensure she is not suffering?
Its so heartbreaking to see that poor leg -
& to know it was caused by human cruelty is UNbearable‼️😭🤯
Do you ever answer questions we ask?
I asked about precious baby Pee Mai
& her genitals looking like she has a penis, but no answer.??
Many were wondering,so it would be interesting to learn the answer please.
🤝🙏🏻🙌🏼👏🏽Your dedication is heralded by we whom love & cherish our animals
that are part of our families - & ALL others on this earth..
I WISH MEDO, MAE MAI AND ALL OTHERS COULD HAVE SURGERY ON LEGS AND HIPS. HELP THESE HUGE ANIMALS TO GET THIS IMPORTANT SURGERY!
Couldnt hear any of that story (your audion messed up)of their abuse/neglect so mayb next time
Lek told it all again in this video so pick back up where you left off to hear the retelling. It had been live-streamed on FB, and a listener told them there was audio trouble, so they retold it all.
The audio was not really working so missed on a lot of your English commentary. Are you able to re record it so we can hear what you are saying
Lek retold it in this video, so if you'll pick the video back up where you left off, you can hear the whole story.
The audio keep cutting out.
so Lek retold the whole story in the later part of the video.
Please re tell their story. Your mic is too broken up
Lek did retell the story in the latter part of the video; please listen beyond where you gave up, as their histories and the story of their friendship is well worth hearing, very sweet! 💙 You may also be pleased to learn that Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel has announced that Bionic Pets is going to make a brace for Medo that will support her, so see their recent video entitled "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants" to hear all about it. 💜
C est beau être triste a la fois
See their video "Exciting News for 3 ENP Elephants."
Elephant database, elephant . se (remove spaces) sometimes shows info.
สวัสดีคะสงสารช้างที่ทำงานมากและหันกคะจากเยอรมันคนรักช้างคะ
สู้ๆครับ
🥰😍😘🦣💝🦣💖🦣💖 BEAUTIFUL MEE-DO AND SOOK-JAI!!! FYI...I COULD NOT ENJOY THE STORY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE BECAUSE YOUR VOICE SOUNDS KEEP GOING OUT)
I was stoned by Tahiti residents for feeding a starving dog for interference with their Buddhist beliefs. Village believed dog was destined for death and tolerate no interference
I don't understand that. 🤯
They are getting it going quickly, so the linked donation page is in the video description.😊
so sad, so very very sad.
These helps will bring new life to these gentle giants, so please take a look at GG's recent video on them.😄💜🐘
Can she be given pain meds and anti inflammatories
bc that is the cruelest treatment I have seen
On another note I truly wish you could do something about those hooks.
Help ! Do something to sick ellie ! My Lord, poor animal ! Don't you have a suport to that leg ? A protesis?
Exciting News! See Gentle Giants Non-Profit channel's recent video from two days ago that announced braces or helps for Medo, Kabu and Thai Koon, from Bionic Pets, the same maker of Mae Mai's new brace that is helping her so much! This is very good!
Poor medo her body is deformed 😔
If you want more people to watch your videos, maybe consider not having one video with 3 languages. And don't post videos with sound issues. It makes people not want to watch more.
The video first posted Live to FB, so a Live-listener informed them real-time of the sound trouble, so Lek repeated the whole story, if you'd like to listen beyond where you gave up. It's a very sweet story Lek shared, as these two elephants have real love between them, a very bonded, caring friendship, well worth the listen.
