I always find this interesting. To detail this car, it's about 1/10 price of the total car value. As much as I own an E350 and an E63 S
Well here in Romania it would be more like 0.25 the price of the car , based on my prices also and the car value at that time i it 😅 also amazing cars you ve got !
@Andronic Detailing Here, it depends if you really like the car. Some humans will spend it on an old car. Let's say this vehicle is 10,000K in 2023, (That's generous) a 1000 dollar detail is 1/10th the car value. Some do it to sell the car and try to get an more than an extra 1000 dollars out of this. It depends. You can spend 150 dollars for basic cleaning and much much much more for extensive paint correction and detailing. You also didn't include the time spent, tools/supplies for 100s ro thousands of dollars and skills to not ruin paint and a place to do it. Most do it at a facility they own and pay rent and taxes on.
@@UhhhhhnooOOo00oO True i also pay rent and taxes 😅 but in romania the prices are lower and at that time the car was around 11-12k and the detail costed like 450 dollars.

I have piano black paint MB , found thats exremly hard. Im doing lighter paint correction with medium polish before huge correction in the future.
I tried Dodo juice LP plus with medium microfibre maquiars or orange carpro medium, sometimes sonax 06-02 with medium microfibre.
It needs some coarse pads for finishing polishes too , looks like medium is suck on this hard hell and it does nothing. I dont want remove deeper scratches now but its hard to remove swirls only with medium polish + medium pads.
I want to use carpro ultracut+ rupes coarse wool pad 1.step.
2.step -Sonax perfect finish + some coarse foam pad (blue rupes, white scholl, red koch chemie..)

Yes this combo should be perfect.
Today i did another piano black pillars with carpro microfiber pad and essence .
The results were amazing, like 95% of defects removed excepting deeper ones
Make sure to set the speed on 3 to work the product more , sometimes lower speeds cuts more than higher speeds @@zzo28
@@AndronicDetailing I dont like this speeds numbers becouse every machine is different. I have DA Dewalt with opm's .
Im using 3500 opm (3500 -rupes bigF 15 mk2 is speed 3) for cut and polish.
Found thats the best. 3000opm looks too much low, 4000 opm can cut more but too much heat ( use that sometimes with pressure because havent coarse pad now for sonax 06-02 on some parts, only medium m.f.) . I burned bumper today when I was polishing sended orange peel. (Repaired by next step polishing so Im lucky)
I need little bit polish too much scratched piano black Benz now to nicer look and waxing before better correction next year I hope.
But this MB paints is really hard to polish only. So I play&test the paint and thinking what I will need for some better correction - pads, compounds..

Looks like the car is dirty becouse I can see all the mess from the floor😅
Sadly the mess from the floor was from the previous owner of the garage 🥲 i washed inside 10000 times and it wont change a thing . In the future i plan to buy modular flooring.
its funny this gay not to long time ago dont have use and brush and staff for detailing now hi dont know how cleaning this whells buy acid you rally need practice...
I only use CarPro products , I don't know what "ACID" you think I'm using get your fact's straight before hating on some one !
