I was there in hospital for one week was very ill. I listened this prayer everyday. Doctors tested me and my all reports were normal. I'm very happy. Praise the Lord. Thank you Jesus.
I love this and have listened to it so many times the last few days. 18 months clean from a 10 year opiate/heroin addiction. This is the first Thanksgiving I've spent with both of my boys in 5 years. Thank you Jesus for breaking my chains and delivering me

I was a Roman Catholic for 3 decades a and horrible tribulation, almost over night, tore everything and everyone I loved and trusted out of my reach, including my suffering children. I was 100% totally helpless and 100% aware that things were going to get even worse and there was 100% NOTHING I could do to change the course ahead of me and. my poor children. When this realization hit, about 2 weeks in to the tribulation, I searched for the saint to whom I was supposed to pray to for the safe return of my children but I quickly gave up the pursuit in my panic and decided to go directly to God in prayer but the only prayer I knew for Him was the Our Father prayer... so I knelt and started praying but I only got to the 5th verse, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done..." and I panicked... like a flood of terror washed over me, I thought "what if this IS God's will for me? What if Jesus didn't die *_for me?"_* (like I thought 'those Protestants' who believe that God chose who He loved before the beginning of the world and He hates everyone else) "what if God does NOT love me"... I paused in my prayer in complete darkness, the absolute worst moment of my life... horrifying beyond measure to even consider that God does not love me or my children.. and as that wave of terror flooded over me... i FELT a soft voice ask me "What about Jesus... what do believe about Jesus". and i responded out loud (as if by catechism muscle memory)... "Jesus is the Son of God who died to take away the sins of the world".. and I sat there, in the middle of the prayer and decided that meant that Jesus came to take away my sins too and if Jesus died for the sins of the world, He died for sinners and that means He died for me too because I am sinner... and then it occurred to me... this may be God's will but if Jesus DIED for me, He loves me and if He LOVES me then I have to believe His WILL is BETTER than mine, even if I can not even perceive how that might be true in my darkest moment... so I went back to praying and completed the prayer: Thy Kingdom come Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven....Gives us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom the power and the Glory.. It was as if I had been given the deposit of the simple reasoning that Jesus' death burial and resurrection was evidence enough for me to trust God could have a plan that I may not comprehend BUT because Jesus loved me enough to DIE on THE CROSS for me, I needed to let God handle this... and since that deposit was reinforced with life circumstances that absolutely precluded me from wiggling out of that fact, I grabbed on to God with all my might for the next 7 years as things completely unraveled in my earthly life.. I did not know what the Bible said then. My life would have been much easier if I knew the promises of God and I often wondered what they were and I am very grateful to have eventually read and now intensely study the Bible for the last 13y, but God carried me through 100% and both my children are believers in Jesus and my mother and sister and her family have become believers all as a direct result of that tribulation that brought me to faith and The Word of God. I type this testimony because of the lyric when he says "in desperation I turned to heaven" I had NO IDEA that God saves us even from ourselves and our own bad theology and religion... it took A LOT for me to finally humble/ SURRENDER myself 100% to God's will... Roman Catholics, you are taught a version of Jesus that is not the complete power of God unto the forgiveness of sins... your love of Mary obfuscates Jesus and you trust in idols, not the WORD of The Risen Lord... Please, everyone read the Bible for yourself. The worst thing in the world is not that you lose everything and everyone you love.... the WORST thing in the world is that you trust in religion and doctrines of men that can not save you because they are lies and when you had your whole life to investigate the God of the Bible according to His Word: "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." *_~Jesus_*
I'm 13 years old my stepdad is a pastor for my church I always love reading through the comments and reading how songs like this brought people closer to Jesus Christ. I'm closer with him then I ever was not only because of songs like this but also because my stepdad is a pastor sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if my parents stayed together but then I realized that perhaps this was apart of God's plan for me I realize how blessed I've been. I’m not perfect, I am a sinner. But he is an unconditional love that I do not deserve. I am able to live because he died, and now I have eternal life through the one that had to give up his too soon. I fall in love with Jesus everyday and when life gets rough, I am not alone. Though, sometimes I fall short and feel alone, he’s there, and the relief I feel when I embrace that is like no other. I can’t help but to share, everyone should experience that type of love.

She's having a painful procedure done but she can't have any one come in with her because of covid...everyone's pretty nervous and I know God is the only way we can get through this. That's not saying it gives us excuse to keep on in our human behaviors, but it is saying God knows our hearts, and knows when we are really trying and fall short, and how sorrowful we are for falling short. In a word, if we are sincere or not. I often beat myself up, until I heard someone say "we tend to focus on where we didn't change, on our shortcomings, but if we look at our growth since being born again, we have come a long way". God wants us to continually grow, into His Sons image. That's why He sent Jesus down to earth - to be a model of behavior for us. Jesus didn't just say what to do - He did it in His actions. Though I’ve been going to church since I was in third grade, I never really listened to the sermons or thought it was important. Last May was when I heard God speak to me when I was at my lowest/breaking point in life. Now I know how important the lessons and songs are. It was as if I had been given the deposit of the simple reasoning that Jesus' death burial and resurrection was evidence enough for me to trust God could have a plan that I may not comprehend BUT because Jesus loved me enough to DIE on THE CROSS for me, I needed to let God handle this... and since that deposit was reinforced with life circumstances that absolutely precluded me from wiggling out of that fact, I grabbed on to God with all my might for the next 7 years as things completely unraveled in my earthly life..
I did not know what the Bible said then.
My life would have been much easier if I knew the promises of God and I often wondered what they were and I am very grateful to have eventually read and now intensely study the Bible for the last 13y, but God carried me through 100% and both my children are believers in Jesus and my mother and sister and her family have become believers all as a direct result of that tribulation that brought me to faith and The Word of God.
I type this testimony because of the lyric when he says "in desperation I turned to heaven"
I had NO IDEA that God saves us even from ourselves and our own bad theology and religion... it took A LOT for me to finally humble/ SURRENDER myself 100% to God's will...
Roman Catholics, you are taught a version of Jesus that is not the complete power of God unto the forgiveness of sins... your love of Mary obfuscates Jesus and you trust in idols, not the WORD of The Risen Lord...

That's not saying it gives us excuse to keep on in our human behaviors, but it is saying God knows our hearts, and knows when we are really trying and fall short, and how sorrowful we are for falling short. In a word, if we are sincere or not. I often beat myself up, until I heard someone say "we tend to focus on where we didn't change, on our shortcomings, but if we look at our growth since being born again, we have come a long way". God wants us to continually grow, into His Sons image. That's why He sent Jesus down to earth - to be a model of behavior for us. Jesus didn't just say what to do - He did it in His actions. Though I’ve been going to church since I was in third grade, I never really listened to the sermons or thought it was important. Last May was when I heard God speak to me when I was at my lowest/breaking point in life. Now I know how important the lessons and songs are. I have been born again since 2018, In early 2022 I lost my best friend killed with terrorist, slipped back into my old habits of feeding fleshly desires and clubbing. But I kept on praying against my weaknesses that for a time seemed to overpower me, then God gave me this song and I am glad as the year is coming to an end I have once again conquered sin and shame.
