you can move the start and stop on your outline, grab ahold of the green(start) triangle and drag it where you want to start and do the same with the red (stop)
Sorry for the late reply. Yes, you can move the green arrow but that just throws down more stitches. I did learn a new method to actually move the start/stop node, not the bow tie. You would add a node to where you want the start, then break the shape open at that node, remove the extra node and close it again. I may have to do another video on that.
Is it possible to do the name curved outline without the enthusiast? Or another way to ask is it possible to do outlined name snaptab only with Stitch Artist 1?
Sorry for the late reply. You would need at least Stitch Artist Level 2 to use the outline function. But you can certainly just draw with points with Stitch Artist 1 to make the outline. The knock-down trick just makes it easier.
I know this is a stupid question but after I do my stitching and pretty outline... then do I cut it out by scissors or could I somehow use my brother scan n cut to cut out the design? As you can tell,, I am new to this. I have stitch artist 1 and wonder if I should add enthusiast
There are no stupid questions. :-). I have a slight older scan and cut so it won’t work for finished fobs. But I know the newer model (the most expensive) has the ability. I can’t recall which group now but a man in one of the FB groups shared how he was able to do this in the newer machine that has the auto depth feature. I tried cutting mine first with the machine but it was really hard to line up both front and back and even harder to trim them close after assembly.
Sorry for the late reply. This is Enthusiast that has the knock down. So you'd need at least Stitch Artist 1 and Enthusiast do to this the way I did it.
I have Enthusiast when I try to do the add knock down stitching is does not give me any option like it does when you to change to Bean etc is this because I have not got stitch artist yet?
Why don't you use the "space" slider instead of moving every letter individually - you can do it for letters, word spacing and line spaciing. Alsmo makes sure they are perfectly spaced, where you can be off if you do them manually. You can also do multiple lines of text all at once if you click on the three lines option also underneath your properties.
sorry for the late reply. Personally, I don't like the space slider. Some letters get too close. I did recently learn keyboard shortcut to use the arrows though which will make it easier to say on the line. There are sooo many ways to do these, this is just the way I do it.
Ahh. I’m sorry. But yes, lettering stitches first. It’s placement line, lay vinyl, lettering, snap placement, put backing on under hoop, then final bean.
I think your tutorial was going in the right direction, but you have so much back and forth on items you make mistakes and need to correction on that’s its difficult for newbies to follow. This is especially true on the final tab to round out. You always can’t remember .. if you are going to make tutorial make it so people can follow easily. You have the talent but the tutorial is a mess.
Kimberlys brain works like mine does, I like that she lets us see the ‘oops’ and the ‘let me think’s’ bc that’s how I roll. I’ve watched it 100x so I’m starting to get it.😊
You do a great job teaching embrilliance. Better than the other videos that spend too much time chatting. 😊
Wow, thank you!
Great tutorial with great explanations and context on why to do certain things. Thank you!
Excellent tutorial, thank you!
Fabulous tutorial! Thank you so much:)💜
informative! Thank you!
WOW! I learned sooooo much Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!

When I selected "Add Knockdown Stitching"
It doesn't cover my box just cover the name
i have all the parts of stitch artist, but I'm on windows and don't see that knockdown option unfortunately

What are your favorite font vendors?
Can you tell me what version this is? I bought essentials and this doesn't have this feature. im so sad

Yes. You need stitch artist.
Going back & forth between this video and Embrillance trying to make 7 different names. Whew, not simple at all! Do you make them for customers?
i have the basic essentials, do i have to purchase stitch artist as well?
Yes. You need at least stitch artist 1. I think getting 2 is most ideal.

Wish you had done a final stitch simulator so I could see if lettering sewed first.
Ahh. I’m sorry. But yes, lettering stitches first. It’s placement line, lay vinyl, lettering, snap placement, put backing on under hoop, then final bean.
What version of embrilliance do you have?
What font is that in your sample?
can you tell me which Stitch Artist is neede for creating keyfobs 1, 2, 3?
Apologies just saw this. You can do this with enthusiast and stitch artist 1.
@@starfishdesigns3312 No worries about being late answer, thank you.
Would this work for like a character or shape?
Yes! Certainly. Use the same ideas. This is how I do all if my snap tab outlines.
Whats the name of the font please?

Confusing
confusing
I’m sorry. There are many ways to do this. What seems to be confusing you?
I found the video difficult to follow. You lost me when you talked about the nodes. Didn't explain the steps very well.

Thanks for the tips! I appreciate all feedback.
