As always I’m happy just to be on the water . I get my share , but it’s reality that you are going to lose some too. That’s fishing , it’s what keeps us coming back
I have a small boat, so have no options but to try and stay inshore. I'm yet to try and crack a code outside of sun up hours, with my young family early mornings is just not a reality . Love you content mate!!
It always tough at this time of year. This day was not great at all . That’s why I stayed inside and only stayed an hour. I’m lucky my boat can handle some chop and is pretty comfortable at rest In a small boat I wouldn’t of gone this day
I reckon those bottom meat style jigs don't give the best hookups sometimes as the hook points don't end up properly exposed (i.e not in and out on one side of a fillet). On my trips inshore up your way we always have at least one bait or jig sitting under the boat and it very often pays off, even on Pinky's
Yes the Sakana jig has small hooks better suited to kg . I generally have a bottom rod rigged . Mostly you can see when there are bigger fish lurking under the boat . As in this occasion I’d seen a big mark move in and out for a while and had a fair idea it was a Dhu .
I go out sometimes but just don’t get off on the whole drifting thing I prefer the challenge of chasing big fish in the shallows. Would like to do a fads trip if the weather lines up someday.,
Salaam big brother thanks so much love you films think good news nice ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So close….but yet so far. Great vid as always.

Ok, no fish on the table, but still an awesome little session and a great example of how a random little lump can still produce. Cool vid Scotty
I’m not all about fish for the table any way
Just happy to be out getting some me time .
Cheers Wazza

Thanks mate. Young family can make it hard , but enjoy them , they only young for a short time.
What better way to start the day ☕️ 🐟 spewing the big dog pulled hooks that was a proper one 😅
Yeah pulled hooks again,

Thanks for always watching.
It’s not always big fish and calm seas .
This was kind of the reality of fishing in Perth
@@Saltfixyep sure is when we started all we could catch was wrasse now I’ve even landed a hammer head shark
@@LockieFielding-hd1ws hammer heads are very cool 👍

@@Saltfix it takes many years for me to forget the times I've been bricked/lost a big dhu. Caring less as I get older at least 🤣
@@broderickhosie2718 I don’t get to upset about it, happy just to be out there.
thanks for sharng
Cheers mate
That’s still was a bad session.👍👍
are you still using circle hooks Scotty?
Wouldn't have to get up at 3am to go fishing if Western Australians understood daylight saving
Most of us understand fine , but the government don’t get it
Haven’t you heard day light saving fades your curtains 😅
It's not getting up that's the hard bit
It's making it past dinner time!
@@tin-yetti yeah deffs got to get that arvo snooze in
