I love it; I’ve become a member, and now I have almost more content than I can handle (almost). All of this is good stuff for me raising my football IQ. Good stuff 👍🏿
Love seeing a real defense unfold
Another great guest!!
I like putting these in situations where they can build their confidence before throwing them all in at once.
Good episode! I think we need to keep in mind how good the Titans defense is, and their front 4 are tough !!
Reppin the Brewers you love to see it
I hate hate hate that youtube will not allow 'member videos' to be used with a locked screen.
Same. I drive a lot and the lock screen saves so much more battery
Definitely a bummer
Would RUclips Premium solve that?
@wisconimike7590 unfortunately I already have premium. I'm sure YT will change it eventually

Jeff Hafley’s offseason emphasis on forcing more turnovers is paying early dividends. Green Bay’s defense has had 5 interceptions and 6 total takeaways through the 1st 2 weeks of the season to lead the NFL in both categories. It’s a dramatic change from last season, when the Green Bay Packers intercepted just 7 passes all season to rank next-to-last in the NFL, ahead of only the Tennessee Titans 6 interceptions. The Green Bay Packers say that they’re having fun playing in Jeff Hafley’s system. The Green Bay Packers signed Xavier McKinney from the New York Giants during the offseason to upgrade a safety position that was one of the team’s biggest weaknesses. He has responded by picking off a pass in each of Green Bay’s 1st 2 games. Last year, nobody on the Green Bay Packers intercepted more than 2 passes all season. Xavier McKinney had the 1st of Green Bay’s 3 interceptions Sunday when Quay Walker pressured Anthony Richardson into overthrowing a pass intended for Alex Pierce. Eric Wilson picked off a pass early in the 4th quarter and Evan Williams intercepted Anthony Richardson’s desperation pass attempt on the game’s final play. Green Bay’s opportunistic defense and dynamic rushing attack helped the Green Bay Packers win without their starting quarterback Jordan Love, who injured his left medial collateral ligament in a season-opening 24-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Green Bay Packers rushed for 261 yards, including 237 in the 1st half while Malik Willis stepped in for Jordan Love and avoided making the types of mistakes that proved so costly for Anthony Richardson. Matt Lafluer had no update on Jordan Love’s potential availability for their upcoming game at Tennessee. Green Bay’s defense had 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery against the Philadelphia Eagles, but couldn’t slow down the Philadelphia Eagles whenever they weren’t turning the ball over. The Green Bay Packers defense was much more effective Sunday and managed to force turnovers at key moments. The interceptions by Xavier McKinney and Eric Wilson both came after the Indianapolis Colts had reached the Green Bay 40-yard line. Evan Williams interception sealed the victory. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
Love Willis's ball handling skills...colts LB's were lost.
The Packers have the most field goal attempts is not confidence in the kicker. It's lack of ability to finish off drives with touchdowns.
Just the fact Willis got the team in and out of the huddle efficiently and executed the vast variety of handoffs was amazing. Lafleur and Willis deserve a ton of credit for just the smooth process on offense. His accuracy passing the ball was amazing, hopefully they can expand the passing offense against the Titans. Running on Sweat and Simmons is not easy to do. They will have to run on the edges and run those big DTs to exhaustion. Play action and some read options should be a big part of the game plan. This will be a great chance for our defensive line to get after Levis and cause multiple turnovers. I hope Willis can handle this hostile environment and still execute as well as he did at home in Lambeau. Big opportunity for Willis and this team to prove how talented they are. The defense really needs to flex their muscle against this mediocre offense of the Titans. Stopping the run and pressuring Levis is critical to our success. GPG!!!
Andy can you do a show on what it is that is making Quay Walker have such bad games? Because to the untrained eye I'm not seeing the full picture of why people are saying he's doing so bad.
Check out Mike Wahle’s coverage. He does an amazing job showing and describing the hesitancy and failure to read what’s coming. He’s consistently a tick late or just out of position, but that’s all it takes.
@@TheSurly74 Mike also makes the point, and Andy kind of hints at it, in that the DL is also putting Quay in bad spots by being washed out of plays and leaving gaps too wide. It's a combination of Quay thinking too much and not trusting himself or his teammates, and the DL not performing and leaving the LBs in a bad position.
@@6Snaus100%. Making my point from another post that the front 7 in total, looks shaky. There appears to be some confusion, hesitancy from play to play in the run game that’s getting them gashed and I get mush rush, but they are getting pushed around more than you want to see these two weeks.
I wonder if he’s given a thought to stopping the run. The next Packers defense to do that will be the first in what, 15 years?
Narveson has done great. He hit the upright once and slightly pushed it right on the other. He seems to kick it fairly straight and forcefully. Like I said he barely missed on both and he strikes the ball really solid and it explodes off his foot. We have to give him some time to adjust to the being in the NFL and his snapper and holder. He's done a great job so far imo.
I’m not bought in on the D, or that mush rushing mobile QB’s is the reason for the lack of production. From watching great pack D’s of the past, this team looks like they’re still 2 difference makers in the front 7 short of success.
Only 2 games played, this is a new system players have to adapt with. Hold off on judgment until mid-season. They're already showing promise. The run defense and pass rush will come with more games they play and experience.
That’s what happens when you prioritize drafting athleticism over talent.
Gute can’t draft for shit
I give Gutey and the draft staff a ton of credit. Overall, a great job. Defensively, the front 7 over the past couple years looks light in the shorts and vulnerable to the run. Pass D got a big upgrade, but the line is still getting pushed off the ball. Quay looks tentative and has read/react issues. The rest of that room is a work in progress. Cooper could be a great add, but not this year. Hopper is a project, Wilson and Mcduff are serviceable but won’t win games. If the goal is a deep playoff run I don’t see that, looking at the D. Things could change for the better…
@@TheSurly74 nearly all his 1st round picks have been bad. 2nd and 3rd round even worse
