Thank you for sharing your expertise in gynecological issues. I enjoy your laid-back personality, and your upbeat and straightforward delivery of the information you’re presenting. I’m 56, entering menopause, and learning so much from you about what my body is going through.

Why don't GYN doctors warn us about this stuff and give us the option of hormone replacement BEFORE the nasty symptoms arrive?

I 100% agree with you, and it makes me angry. I'm now 68 yo and just finding out that HRT would have/could have helped me SO much.

Completely agree! I've been through 3 years of hell with GSM, which could have all been prevented had I known this stuff in advance!

I dont. Have. A. Carbuncle but have been told my urethra is narrow and retracted and my vagina is. Narrowed.. any touch to the area is extremely painful. My urologist put me on estradiol vaginal cream . What really sucks is having ehlers danlos and chronic urinary retention. On top of the early menopause. I've also had prolapse surgery. And perineoplasty ( skin. Bridge) .

Do you accept out of country patients? I’m an American citizen but have lived in Canada for the last 28 years

Love your name, my grandfather was a Joe Babb (in Massachusetts). I was watching a video this morning that I came across on the subject of vaginal tearing and a comment led to you. In 29 days I will be 57. I went through menopause early & easily, complete in 2013 on my 1st wedding anniversary at 47. It wasn't til about our 7th that I experienced burning being intimate and suffered in silence for about a year then it got beyond tolerable, I went to see my PC . Three years later thinking that I was the only one until today! I have only been intimate 3x in past 3 years with my husband who is a saint! My Dr. (Oct 2020) confirmed my tear along the episiotomy that I had when I was 24 which was jagged because was torn through by my daughters head. All this time I thought it was caused by my husband not being circumcised. December 2020 because of covid I was referred to a gyn via telephone, she said use organic coconut oil (no chemicals) librily and gave me a Rx cream. That has been 2 years ago it didn't do much for us. I have always thought myself up on current news and things like cancer etc., (my mom's 3 sisters died of breast cancer before their 50's in the 80's & 90's mom died at 74/2018) this is the worst kept secret for women! While men's ailments are all over radio & TV at nausium, no offense intended. I now know that my experiences are real & a thing with terminology. Thank you for giving me knowledge to work with.
