There goes Scanlan, once again making the Absolute Clutch move and saving the world. It might have been the closest the world came to ending, but for this Legendary Bard, it was just another Tuesday. 🎉
He fixed Exandria’s leylines and moved the moon *with a bonus action*. That’s nuts! Cue Scanlan quoting Elle Woods from Legally Blonde after getting into Harvard “What, like it’s hard?” Just… dang Scanlan! I’m not surprised after the Vecna fight but just… wow!
Counterspelled a god, detached Exandria and Ruidas; hell, if Cognoza made it to the PMP, Scanlan probably would have just banished it back to the Astral Sea with a bonus action
What Matt Mercer's DMing style teaches all future and current DMs is how to expand on what the player says. The DM is all about world building, but it is the players that make the blue prints. But not all DMs are like this, for any new players. So take that into consideration.
Scanlan was, and forever shall be, THE MVP Savior of Exandria. The JOKE character, meant to just entertain. One reaches his destiny on the road to avoid it, indeed, Sam.
@@tristanmilner9511 @Sp0lby Let's also not forget that Scanlan also tends to be one of the more ... eccentric members of the group, always thinking with his groin. Imagine how much he could achieve if he was thinking with the head upstairs 24/7 ? And lest we forget, Scanlan is played by Sam, and no, I would not trust that either. I love him to bits for his shenanigans, but no, I would not trust the fate of the world to Sam if there's a chance to cause shenanigans.
@ I admit most of the time he’s thinking with his groin. But the times he isn’t, he’s arguably the most helpful member in the group next to keyleth and grog and the guy literally saved the world before. If he wasn’t there Vox would of lost.
@@TheKrenk999 Idk what you're talking about, I would trust Sam with the fate of the world in a heart beat. He is one of the most intelligent players of the group and has saved ALL of them multiple times. I wouldnt trust you though, with your inability to look past "hehe he's just funny"

Thursday*
@ Damn! Why didn’t I think of that?
the moment he sayed he would reach or it i imagined him tickeling the ball like ... well balls
If I had a nickel for every time Scanlan saved the world... well I would have two nickels but it is odd it happened twice.

Wrong. He would have seduced it with a bonus action.

Scanlan's multiverse
I REALLY wanted him to say "You come when Burt Reynolds tells you to come"

nothing but respect for MY BARD ‼️
The BARD writes what happens in the story! In game (Scanlan) and out of game (Mercer) 🎉
It’s a little sad that they seemingly, still have such little faith in the gnome considering everything he’s accomplished.
In fairness, he was in the middle of a cross country road trip mid life crisis when the found him.

Mystra watching all this like...goddammit why is HE the one fixing this
'Cause he's not on Abeir-Toril? Go take care of your own world, Midnight.
You know Ioun is watching with popcorn in hand, going "that's my champion!"
who else thought Ruidus would just crash onto Exandria
I believe that is what was going to happen
what a clutch clutch
"Clutch" is an exaggeration. He didn't do anything crazy or unexpected. If anything, Liev'tel had the most important move in the episode.
That's an awful lot of hoopla!
I like Matt’s nail polish ❤
It’s like a Rudius red❤
