holy crap, I didn't realize he did both the Mustang burning Lust scene and Wrath & Greed fight....But I can definitely draw parallels. Amazing, god-tier animator.
Holy shit! I just discovered this guy from Mob Psycho 100 and I'm completely awestruck on this level of animation. This man is completely in a different league of it's own. Just Pure Eyegasm°
I didn’t read the video title very carefully so wile I was watching I was like “this looks an awful lot like Yoshimichi Kameda’s style!” & then I read the title properly & was like “Oh- that’s why.”
The Mustang burning Lust scene @5:14 is hands down one of the most expressive scenes of pain I've ever seen in Anime. Just how Lust has like... ZERO chance to escape that... SEA of flames and how she so desperately lashes out to kill him with the last of her strength then gives him a finale stare almost to say, "Remember this face well". Such a well done scene and yet so much more to be said about that scene alone...
Kameda's Kanada sytle of animation is so wild and flashy like Kanada's in terms of effects and impact frames, his action cuts was the best ones in Kameda's works and with those shown movements, his animation's so great i still have no words to describe his amazing cuts. And I can't even compare Kameda to OG Kanada, Imaishi, Imai, Arai and other Kanada-School existed animators out there for their flashy style of animation because they are so good and appealing
that's his style, exaggerated sharp choppy frames and he uses alot of smears with blurr. His work looks like the works of Sushio and Yoh Yoshinari from Gainax, Trigger.
Because that's the purpose of Kanada-School of animation. The exaggeration, flashy effects, choppy frames that makes the movement flashy and appealing. And thanks to Yoshinori Kanada who changed anime and animation in terms of different styles of animation, his style was adapted throughout every anime existed from 80s to todays and still ongoing being him the most influential animator, even animators like Kameda, Sushio and Imaishi was being one of the animators who fully replicate Kanada's animation style and still their cuts were amazing and flashy that inspired a lot of existing animators.
Those were all seasonal anime. None stop, weekly anime (like all the anime Toei does) have tighter schedules with a lot less time to animate. There are a a few exceptions, Toei does have young and old talent for sure. Just wanted to let you know.
+Olegh Rozman I think Kameda does a good job of making his characters look like they're moving fluidly. Sure, some of the frames look a bit warped, but that's a compromise that has to made for fast paced action and it still looks great.
CarelessRook117 their poses looks like from some "comics books".. Dont think of me like i hate Kameda.. i think he is realy awesome. His works are fool of details and dynamic, but i think that movement could be more natural
+zeko that too, also the part that ed pulling that iron bar out of his arm and transmuting a bunch of fists were him gimme back my 10 dollars, jackass!
すごい運動量と移動距離と奥行
this guy can make an animated scene of me eating toast look awesome
holy crap, I didn't realize he did both the Mustang burning Lust scene and Wrath & Greed fight....But I can definitely draw parallels. Amazing, god-tier animator.
The animator who inspired me the most to study japanese animation, 2 years ago.
Same
Wow he did well
I knew there was something very different about his animation, just learned he uses a sumi-e brush pen at times. Incredible stuff.

Lol same
ガチでかっこいい...
And the music goes seamlessly with that scene I stated below as well as the entire MAD video. Very well done as always.

LOL naruto with guns
He's got this very bouncy style like Ik Hyun Eum; I don't dislike it but I'm not really won over by it.
良MAD
Thanks Blue, for another great MAD.
神作画神曲
1:38 probably the most badass punch ive ever seen
I really liked that Naruto ending animation at the end. I wish the fights in the actual show were on that level of smooth and dynamic more often.
idk how to describe this guys style
Yoshinori Kanada-esque
Siky ness
Inky and angular?
Mobi I find it hard too. Nozomu Abe too

That first song sounded like Japanese Michael Jackson.
With animation sequences like that, it's a shame Asura's Wrath didn't sell better.
「存在証明」「CONVINCING」by ONE OK ROCK
awesome job!
There's lots of energy but it feels a bit choppy...
Can you give me an example (from this video)?
that's his style, exaggerated sharp choppy frames and he uses alot of smears with blurr. His work looks like the works of Sushio and Yoh Yoshinari from Gainax, Trigger.

movements are full of energy.. but very unnatural
I disagree, especially during the Towa no Quon clip at 1:38.
CarelessRook117 only this (1:38) moment is realy looks "naturaly" but all others are looks too dynamic.. and awkward
+Olegh Rozman I think Kameda does a good job of making his characters look like they're moving fluidly.
