Love this, Nick, especially to find that BrightSlide can do the increased picture quality that I occasionally have gone to Canva for...My biggest reason to go to Canva, though, is that most instructions for sizing tend to be in pixels. And PPT does not do pixels (only inches). I have to use a converter (i.e., multiple steps elsewhere to stay in PPT). [Just a MSoft-frustration comment.]

I need to make a video of this one! PowerPoint will convert pixels to inches if you type the pixels you're looking for in the custom slide dimension box. If you're looking for 1080 by 1080 Instagram square for example, just type 1080 in the H and W on my screen this convers to 10" by 10" - might be different on your screen since pixels are screen-resolution dependent. Your point is well taken though - Canva does a good job of giving those pixel dimension and sharing what they're sized for (Instagram story, post, Facebook post, twitter post et... ) They really should take that as an opportunity for their templates tab! I actually think on PowerPoint for Mobile (the mobile app) they do have templates for different social post types, but how often am I really working on PPT mobile? LOL never! :)
